Chapter 30

Nikki's POV

Anything I do, I hear the sounds of feedback in my head like there's a walkie talkie in it. It's pretty weird. I started happening a few days ago. It's been getting progressively worse every day. I don't talk about it but it gets in the way when I'm trying to listen to people talking.

Chase was trying to ask me if I wanted to get ice cream with him but I stood there like I was deaf, looking like he was some new creature when in reality I just couldn't hear it over feedback. It's annoying!

The only way I can drown it out is if I have music playing. It intercepts the noise and causes it to stop. So I've made quite a lot of trips for new music lately to keep the sound out. I'm in my room right now, with an old Jonas Brothers CD playing that I had got from the $5 bin. It was the song Burnin Up. It was a nice song, makes you wanna dance.

I heard my door open I see its Chase. I've been feeling really bad lately because whenever he tries to talk to me I can't hear him. Only when I have music on. I looked over at him as he weakly smiles. It hurts "hey" I say sweetly as he smiles and walks over. I put my book away and sit next to him "are you ok?" he asks out of the blue. Should I tell him? "yeah I'm totally fine. Why?" he looks down "it seems like you block everything out lately. Are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong? Im sorry if I did I didn't mea-" I cut him off by putting my lips to his.

He didn't do anything wrong. He never does anything wrong which is why I love him. He brings his hands up and cups my cheeks making me smile. We pull back to catch our breathe "you didn't do anything wrong. I guess I've just been out of it lately" I shrug. Fingering the necklace that's hung from my neck since the day Chase gave it to me. "Are you sick?" he asks a bit worried, putting his hand on my forehead "I'm fine. Just not feeling myself" I shrug. I fall back onto the comfortable bed and sigh with my eyes close. How can I get this out my head without music playing? I feel the bed slump and Chase pull me so my heads on his chest and he's holding me in his arms. He kisses my head "if you need anything just tell me ok?" he asks as I smile and close my eyes, savoring this sweet moment. "Yes" I say looking back up at him and pecking his lips "I love you Nikki" I wrap my arms around his, hugging him tight "I love you too Chase" I say meaning every word of it.

No ones POV

"What other way could I get close to the bionic kids then to built one to replace" Allen says walking around his labrotory and putting his hands against the capsule/chamber.

"Everything's almost complete. All I need is to get her when her guards are down and she'll be mine. That's when you come in" he speaks to the android as if it knew how to properly answer. "You look just like her. Blonde,blue eyes,tall,everything you would need to be her. At least for a little while. You will be the perfect exact replica of the one I need to complete all this" Allen steps back,allowing his creation to step forward. "Nikki" he acknowledges the android. The android having exact looks like Nikki. Everything to the last freckle. "You will be perfect, and I'll get my revenge on David. All without him knowing" Allen says with a giant grin. "You will replace Nikki, ill act as if I have got some evil plot, then the kids will practically come running to me" Allen says, ending it with a minacle laugh.

A beeping goes off in one of his many panels. "Ah and I'm in" he says with a good sigh "now Miss Nikki. Your mine" Allen says pushing the button that shoots information into Nikki's body. Putting her under complete control. "Your job is to switch out. She should be leaving the house now. Now go! and make me proud" the android smiles evilly and and walks off. Towards the Davenports. Starting something no one but Allen will know.

"And the game starts...." he hovers his finger over the button that transmits everything Nikki knows to the android. "Now" he says letting gravity take its corse as he presses the buttons. Turning the android into Nikki. Not fully but partially. If the android wasn't a robot with Nikki's features it could play off as her forever.

What's going on? who's Allen and what does he have planned for the Davenports? Nikki as bait. Might be a smart thing to do. But it could also mean the downfall of everyone. Could he really use her so much as an advantage and will everyone get sucked into the androids deceiving looks and trust? Find out in the next chapters
