"This is my apartment," I said as I watched the rain fall down onto the windshield of the car.
"Oh, alright." Ashton seemed to be slightly uncomfortable since the end of the movie, and I'd be lying if I said I had no clue why.
"Thank you so much for an incredible time, Ashton, maybe we could do it again?" I smiled up at him, watching his eyes brighten a bit.
"You'd like to?" He asked with a smile.
"Maybe, yeah," I said, wrapping my arms around him. "Well, I should probably get going now, right?"
Ashton's smile faded a bit. "I mean, I guess, if you need to..."
I laughed. "I'll see you soon, Ash."
I opened the door to the car and stood up, the rain almost immediately soaking me. I shivered a bit and then continued walking towards the building.
"Wait, Josie!"
I turned around just in time to see Ashton's face millimetres from mine, and quickly coming closer. His lips came into contact with mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck, standing on my toes.
When he finally pulled away, he pressed his forehead to mine, water dripping off of his nose down to the floor. "I never gave you my number," he breathed, handing me a crumpled up piece of paper.
I smiled and quickly hopped up to kiss him again.
"I felt it," he said, happily. "I felt sparks."
