Once again, I sat in my room, cell phone in hand. The date with Ashton had gone well, much more so than I had predicted. But there was still some nagging thought at the back of my head telling me that I should wait for Michael.

Instead of texting Ashton, I turned my phone off and went to sleep.

It had been a couple days, and I was at the bookstore working yet again. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, and I shrieked. However, upon turning, I found a head of blue hair and a pair of green eyes in front of me. "Michael!"
He laughed. "Hey look! I'm a blueberry! We match!"

I smiled. "Did you match with me on purpose?"
Michael shook his head. "Technically, no. I tried for a deeper shade, but I guess you made your blue a bit more intense as well!" He smirked at me and quickly checked his watch. "Your shift is over in a few, right?"

"Yeah, it is."

"Want to hang out? I've got some snacks and a few videogames at my place."

"No!—" I laughed awkwardly. "No, I mean, we can't go home just yet, you know? It's only 6...and how about we get some coffee? I'm really thirsty..."

Michael raised an eyebrow. "Alright..."

We walked across the street to the coffeeshop, and ordered our coffees. "So, Michael, uh...I met your friend Ashton a few days ago."

Michael nodded. "I know, he won't stop talking about you. Jeez, what'd you do, win the lottery?"

"What?"

Michael laughed. "Ashton absolutely adores you...or hanging out with you...I don't know. He just won't shut up about you, and to be honest, it's really annoying."

"Oh." I took a sip of my coffee. "Are you jealous?"
