"Hey," I sighed, sitting down next to Ashton on his couch. He handed me a small box, wrapped in penguin wrapping paper. "What's this?"

Ashton smiled at me. "Open it."

I tore the paper and opened the box, pulling out a CD. As I looked closer, I saw four very familiar faces on the cover. "Ashton, is this...?"

He nodded, smiling from ear to ear. "We finished the record! It's all done, and it's going out on iTunes very soon!"

I threw my arms around him, kissing his cheek. "Agh! Ash, I can't believe it! I'm so proud of you!"

He chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah, but you don't love me, do you?"

I pulled away from him, staring him in the eyes. "What?"

He ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah. I've noticed that you don't look at me the way you used to." I was speechless. I reached out for Ashton's hand, but he pushed it away slowly, frowning. "No, Josie. Don't. I need you to be honest with me."

"H-honest? About what, Ashton?"

He took the box out of my hands and put his hands on my shoulders. "Josie, what is happening between you and Michael?"
