"All fan fictions need to have a conflict."

Michael turned around and glanced at me. "What?"

"All fanfictions need to have a conflict, Michael."

"Do they? Josie, what are you reading over there?"

I slammed my laptop closed and then looked up to Michael with a big smile. "Nothing."

"Josie."

"I'm not reading anything."

"I know the password to your laptop and I'm not ashamed of tickling you until you pass out in order to get it."

I crossed my arms protectively over my laptop. "Please don't. It's weird."

"Weirder than my text conversations with Ashton?"

I thought for a moment. "Yes."

"Oh, I have to see now. Show me!" Within moments, he was on top of me, long arms wrapped around me. "Don't fight it, Josie."

I thrashed my arms and legs around. "Don't take it! It's private!"

"No it's not. I bet it's not. What, are you reading fanfiction?"

I felt my cheeks turning red. "No I am not."

He snatched the laptop from my arms and took two long strides across the room and into the bathroom, where he promptly locked the door. "Teehee."

"I hate you, Michael Gordon Clifford!"

"You say that to all of your--" he went silent. "What is this?"

I felt my cheeks heating up. "What is what?"

"What is this 'Muke?'"

I bit my lip. "Uh, I don't know what you're talking about--"

"Did you write this?"

I laughed awkwardly. "Write what?"

"I gotta say, you've got a nice vocabulary."

"Michael, please just come out from behind the bathroom door--"

"May I remind you, you stabbed me with a fork."

I groaned. "It was a bad moment for me."

"Do you ship it too?"

"Ship what?"

"Muke."

I ran to the bathroom door and began pounding on it. "Michael! Stop!"

"Oh, my leg is hurting now. Ouch, these scars will never heal."

"Shit, I hate you."

"You looooove me."

"I--"

"And I apparently love Luke."

"That's not for your eyes."

"It's online, and it's about me. Free game, '5SOSfan1997.'"

"I regret ever going to get coffee with you."

"Love you too."
