-niya-
When we walked in the condo it had the most beautiful complex editions .
"This is really nice August" I said looking around the house
" thanks niya"
" I'll take that one on the right" I said walking to it.
It had a sexy queen size bed in there that called my name. I flopped down on the bed feeling comfortable.
"Well I'll give you one of my shirts to sleep in" August said going to his room.
When he came back he handed me a white shirt and some boxers.
"Thanks August" I said
" no problem if you need something come knock on my door I'll be right there" he said walking out
I went into the bathroom connected to my room taking a warm shower. It soothed me from the pain I felt.
When I got out the shower I put on the clothes August gave me to wear. I got in bed laying down watching being Mary Jane. Then August came to door frame shirtless. He had ink covering most of his skin I found that very attractive.
"Aye ma I wanted to check up on you" August said smiling
"Thanks August for everything" I said
" ya know I got you any friend of my cousin is a friend of mine" he said flashing his charming smile.
"Thanks August" I said once again
"Want something to eat niya?" he said in his thick accent
"Sure what ya got" I asked smiling
"I got some Chinese food if you want some"
" I'll have some"
"Come with me then"
I walked in the kitchen sitting at the table across from August eating Chinese food with my chop sticks. When I watched him try to eat his noodles with chopsticks I laughed at cause he couldn't do it for shit.
"Ya know what I give up I'm a black nigga ion eat wid damn chopsticks" he said throwing the chopsticks down on the table
I couldn't help but laugh at this point then the door opened. My body tensed up .
"August who's in the house?"I asked feeling scared
"Im'a go see stay here ma"August said walking around the house. I obediently stayed where I was. I heard August laughing and coming into view with a boy who looked a lil older then him. They looked alike but the boy was lighter than August.
"Damn August who that?" He said putting his hand on his chin licking his lip
"This my friend niya"
"She cute"
I jus blushed looking down at the ground.
" dang she a shy one too" the older one said
August jus laughs at my reactions
" Niya this my older brother Mel , Mel this Niya. You shoulda seen ha face when she heard the door open."
"I bet she was scared" Mel said laughing
"Shut up" I managed to say defending my self
" who?" Mel said looking around
"You!" I said getting in his face pointing
He laughed then he looked at what I was wearing.
"Y'all fucking?" Mel said
"Nah!!!!" Me & August said at the same time
"Oh my bad" Mel said snickering
"Mel take yo dumb ass to sleep " August said shaking his head
Mel walked out the room going into the room across from the bathroom.
"Y'all look alike " I said
" yea we hear that a lot " he said shrugging his shoulder
" I bet" I said sipping my iced tea
August laughed for no apparent reason and I jus started looking at him weird.
" what ya laughing at nigga?" I said crossing my arms
" oh my bad I'm laughing at what my brother said"
"Oh" I said laughing back
"Well ma Im'a go to bed if you want something knock on my door" he said walking to his room
I sat there finishing my tea & noodles. When I was done I put my bowl in the skink throwing my chopsticks in the trash.
I walked back in my room laying in bed thinking about august. He super nice for letting me stay here I feel like I owe him. I went back to sleep .
Next day
When I woke up I had 1 little girl laying next to me. I texted August telling him to come to my room
"What's wrong ma?" He asked quietly
"Who's baby this is?" I said concerned
"That's one of my Nieces" he said calmly
"Oh she's adorable"
" yea that's my baby" he said picking her up
" I'll put her in my bed sorry if she scared you"
I nodded as he walked out the room carrying the little girl.
I went back to sleep .
3 hours later
I woke up going into the bathroom . when I came out I went straight in the kitchen. I put my hair in a pony high pony tail.
"Who's that" I heard a lil voice said
I jumped seeing August & 3 little girls
" that's my friend niya" he said chuckling at me for my scary behavior
"She's pretty" the oldest one said she looked to be 9
"Thanks y'all the cutest" I said hugging them
" can we call her auntie?" The middle child asked
August looked at me and I looked back at them
"I'll be anything you want me to be" I said smiling
" auntie" tha youngest one yelled
She ran into my arms kissing my cheek. I don't know what it is but August people like me already.
"What's all the yelling about?" Mel said coming into view
" The girls found themselves a aunty" August said
"Who" Mel said looking confused
"Me silly" I said cheesing extra hard
"Oh" Mel said as he laughed
" they yours? " I asked Mel
"Yea them my girls" he said smiling at them
"They pretty" I said looking at them once more
They started smiling batting they eye lashes . these girls too grown I thought to myself laughing.
"August we still going out today with the girls right?" Mel asked
"Ion know I was gon take you and the girls to see tori" August replied
" tori I miss ha I haven't seen her in years" Mel said as a smile lit up on his face
" I know that's why I was gon take y'all over there to see her" he said rolling his eyes.
I laughed at those two.
" can you do my hair"the oldest one said?
"Yea sweety anything for my niece" I said smiling
August & Mel smiled at me and the girls
"Me too" the youngest girls said in unison.
"Yea I'll do it tell me your names first"
"I'm Chay" the oldest one said
"Amaya " the middle child said
"I'm kaykay" the youngest said putting her hands on her hips
I laughed at her because I can tell she the sassy one.
"Y'all come with me" I said walking in my room
I grabbed the hair supplies out the bottom of the bathroom draw. Its like this house was made for me to live in
I got the brush, gel, hair bows, a brush, & a comb.
I sat Chay in a chair while I sat on the bed, I put a bun in her hair wrapping a ribbon around it. When I did amaya hair I put her hair in pony tails I did the same for kaykay .I let them look in the mirror.
"I love it" I heard them say
"She do it better than mommy" I heard amaya say
I laughed at them girls they too much. We all walked back to the kitchen smelling bacon, sausage, pancakes,& strawberries. I seen August cooking it all while Mel sat in the living room watching ESPN. We sat in my room listening to fetty wap
"Baby won't you come my way" we all sang then August came in the room with his phone recording us. I chased him around the house.
"Get him aunty niya" the girls screamed
I finally caught up with august tackling him pinning him down . I struggled to take his phone when I almost had it he pressed post. I was mad I started play fighting with August and he kissed me.
"Ewww" the girls exclaimed
August laughed helping me up.
" what y'all ewwin bout" Mel said
"Uncle August kissed aunty Niya" the girls said
Mel jus arched his eye brows at us shaking his big head. I laughed walking back to my room only being followed.
"Sorry I kissed you niya but come back breakfast ready" August said
"Ight shawty you fixing my plate?" I asked
"Shawty? Ma that's you bud yea I'll do it" august said flashing his $ money making smile
We walked back to the kitchen. He fixed me strawberry pancakes, sausage, bacon, & gave me some orange juice.
"Thanks Augie"I said looking at August
August jus looked at me like what the fuck.
I laughed eating my food, it was great.
" this good August" I said
"I know I learned how to cook from my moms" he said
"That's wassuh" I said finishing the last piece of bacon.
August laughed at me as I finished eating.
"Dang ma you can eat" Mel said
Staring in disbelief
" skinny girls like to eat too" I said
" you thick girl shut up" August said cheesing
I laughed with everyone else .
" Im'a wash up I'll be back" I said exiting the room and entering mine. Then I forgot I didn't have any of my clothes.
"Aye Aug" I yelled
"Yea" he called back
" come here" I said yelling again
He ran into my room
"What niya" he said
" can you take me to cherasonto house so I can get my clothes?"
"Yea ma I'll give you one of my outfits we look almost the same size I'm jus taller" he said laughing
"Shut up" I said playfully pushing August out my room
" I'll be right back" August said walking out my room
I sat on the bed waiting for august , when he came back he brought a white shirt with a hoodie and some camo jeans and some black & white Nike socks.
"Thanks Augie" I said hugging him
" call me that again and Im'a tear ya ass up" he said in his accent trying to sound mean but ended up laughing
"Nigga bye" I said laughing
" you think I'm playing" he asked arching his eyebrows
"Yep" I said
He tackled me on the bed pinning me down from behind .
"Aye- oh never mind" Mel said
We both looked up and seen Mel walking put.
"Shit" I said laughing
August laughed with me
" well Im'a let you get dressed before I fuck around and give you some dick" he said laughing
I threw a pillow at him
"Yea right august" I said
" you know I would've" he said walking out.
I only shook my head laughing. I put on the outfit August gave me to wear. I went in the bathroom brushing my teeth and washing my face. When I was done with That I put my hair in a side Bob slaying my edges down with some pro styling gel . I went back in my room finding my Js and putting them on. I walked back everyone else.
"Damn ma" August said
I rolled my eyes
"You ready to go?" He asked me getting his car keys
"Yea"
We got in his car going to cherasonto crib. When I got there all my stuff was on the front porch. I was mad asf
" ma don't worry bout it I'll help you"
I nodded my head. We both picked up bags and boxes of my items putting them in the car.
When we finished we went back to the house.
"Where y'all been?" Mel asked
" we had to pick up her stuff from her ex boyfriend house" August said
"Oh" Mel said
"Help me bring these boxes in" I said to Mel
" ight aunty niya" he replied laughing
" shut up Mel" I said rolling my eyes.
We all carried my boxes in the house. Me and August put my things in my room.
"Thanks for helping me August" I said hugging him
When we hugged it was a long hug , when he finally let me go he looked me in my eyes and left the room. I sat on my bed thinking about everything that had recently happened to me. Its been a blur I'll tell you that much.
