Rose x Reader

You took a deep breath. It was shaky, like your legs were. It was terrifying. The height made you dizzy and the air was still, like it was holding it's breath at the scene that was unfolding before it.

The cliff was tall, skinny, and steep. It was a hard climb up the cliff, but you didn't know what time it was now, and your legs were numb.

Your arms were spread, like an eagle about to fly. You wanted to fly.

Your legs were tense, you took what you guessed would be your last breath, and you got ready.

"Don't jump." a voice said. You stumble, and almost fell to your death. You turn around. A tall lady, with a white dress and pink hair was standing behind you. She wasn't panicking, she wasn't made, she was calm. Sad.

"Why shouldn't I?" you asked, trying to sound confident, but your voice cracks. She takes a step towards you, and you almost step back, but remember that there's nothing but air behind you.

"There's everything in the world that could happen if you jump. Jump City might fall into chaos, people will cry, I will cry." she said. You wanted to believe it so badly. There was something about her voice that made it seem possible that all of it was true.

"Is it true?" you asked. It all sounded so true. She nodded, and opened her arms for a hug.

Before you knew it you were being hugged, lead away from the cliff. You were sobbing out unintelligible words, and the lady just kept hugging you, agreeing, and murmuring comforting words.

And she smelled like roses.
