Corrupted Steven

Okay okay OKAY.

So this idea is from @MoontailDraws and I love it go follow her mother's orders okay byeeee.

"Steven!" he heard Pearl's panicked shouts right before the miscolored pink and red spots started to spread across his skin, feeling that his skin was being poked with a million spears, like his stomach acid was dissolving his organs, himself from the inside out.

He didn't quite know what he was doing when he fused the corrupted gem. He had tried to use his spit, and it was healed, but still corrupted. He just thought...maybe fusing with it would help. Anything. Anything at all to stop that shrieking, that horrible painful sobbing.

But the corrupted gem had run away now, and Steven felt himself. Breaking. Shattering into a million pieces, his body parts being torn apart.

And he could feel his mother's shouts in his head, telling him to fight it. To lead the rebellion. To stay alive.

But it was all so difficult. Staying alive, every breath was squeezing his lungs tighter, and soon his lungs would collapse.

The voices got loud. His mother voice.

All of a sudden, it wasn't in his head anymore. He was saying them, like he couldn't control himself. Pearl's face was twisted up in pain. Shock. She looked so sad.

Don't be sad.

Garnet looked like she was seeing more clusters. And Steven knew how much she hated them. Or at least hated the way that they were made.

Don't be scared.

Amethyst looked like she was going to throw up, and never eat again. And Steven knew how much eating was important to Amethyst. She claimed that it was an 'art'.

Don't be worried.

Peridot had the same expression that she had when she saw Yellow Diamond. Awe. Fear. She looked like she was seeing a Diamond. But Steven knew that she was just confused at what she was seeing.

Don't be confused.

And lastly, Lapis. She looked like her only friend was dying. Like Peridot had been shattered. Like Camp Pining Hearts had ended.

Don't be lonely.

And suddenly, Steven no longer existed.

Rose did, though.
