His Mum Doesn't Like You, (LIAM):

Liam: "Liam, sweetheart?" Karen calls from the kitchen, probably where she's washing the dishes. "Yeah mum?" Liam shouts back from his spot on the settee, right next to you. "Can you come and help me with the dishes?" She kindly asks. Liam sighs then gets up making his way through to the kitchen. You and Liam were having a little conversation of your own so the living room has gone quiet since he left. You sit there for a few minutes, just staring at all the pictures on the wall. Your non-interesting thoughts were interrupted by the smash of a plate coming from the kitchen. You jump up but are stopped when you hear Liam grumbling, "you know that's not fair." Your eyebrows furrow in confusion as to why Liam said that, this intrigues you to listen in further. "I know, Liam. But you have to understand where I'm coming from. She seems lovely but lacking something that girls I've met previously have had." This also makes your eyebrows furrow, what does she mean? "She's lovely natured, she has nice manners but I'm sorry I just don't think she's the right one for you, she might be holding you back and that might effect you, it might effect your career..." A single tear rolls down your cheek... Karen does like you; she just thinks you're holding Liam back. Exactly what you're thinking comes out of Karen's mouth, "I think you should finish it Liam." Your heart races, Liam stays quiet. Obviously silently agreeing with his mum. Or so you think, Liam's thinking the exact opposite. The silence filling the house now is hurting you; you already have your shoes on so you just silently make your way out of the house, not wanting to cause anymore trouble. Liam and his mums' relationship is important, you and Liam can still be friends, right?
