v sad thing that happened at one of the shows but jish is all good and people just need to remember that he's not an object he's a person with feelings

on one of the last nights of the european tour, josh has an anxiety attack.

"i think we're gonna go out for drinks after the show with everyone," says jenna while her and mia stand backstage watching the show. the sounds of tyler's voice and josh's drumming along with the screaming from the fans bounces off the walls of the huge arena.

mia nods her head to show that she's on board. "sounds good."

"i have no clue where they find the energy to perform these amazing shows, and still go out and party afterwards. it's crazy," the blonde laughs softly while gazing out where her husband is a the front of the stage, singing the fast pace lyrics.

"me either," mia hasn't taken her eyes off of josh since he got on stage - watching him play passionately at his drum kit and mouthing along to some of the words. the energetic smile on his face seems a bit smaller than usual, like it's almost being forced.

it's no secret that the touring is taking it's toll on josh. on most nights he's lucky to get six hours of sleep, and giving his everything in making sure that his drumming is perfect is physically exhausting. josh loves performing, he really does, but it's not easy.

the time in the set comes along for the crowd to hold up a platform with one of josh's drums on it. lately, with the growing crowds, it's become a part of the show that makes mia incredibly nervous. a lot of the people in the front of the pit who are supposed to be helping hold up the platform are instead occupied with trying to capture the experience of having josh dun in front of them with their phones. tyler even had to tweet about it a few nights ago.

"it's fine," josh had said, a casual shrug accompanying his words.

mia had given him a concerned tilt of her head. "i don't want you to fall and get hurt or something."

however, josh wasn't worried about that in the slightest. and even if he did fall, the fans would just help him up. maybe it was because he was more trusting than mia was, or maybe it was because for him, concerts were full of dedicated people that all had his back. "i'll be good, quit worrying so much."

josh had kissed mia after the words of assurance, and now, a few days later, he's not sure if he feels as confident.

a thin layer of sweat covers his shirtless, toned torso as he climbs up on the platform. thousands of fans are screaming from excitement, and he looks out at all the faces meeting his eyes. it's almost like he feeds off the energy, like it drives him to keep going even though he feels like total shit on the inside from lack of sleep.

he bobs his head along to the melody of ride, tapping his drumsticks together to the beat. underneath him, he can the slight shakiness of the wooden platform. it's not being held up properly, he can tell.

throughout the course of the song, josh focuses on hitting his drums. everything else around him is like a blur as he stands up to play the kickdrum, his hips in time with the movement as his foot presses down on the pedal. when he sits back down on the small stool to finish playing the remainder of the song, josh's body is coursing with adrenaline.

it's when he goes to climb off the platform that josh falls into the crowd.

he's not sure if it was the imbalance from not being held up right, or maybe his own footing, but as he goes to climb down on the other side of the barricade, he slips off and lands in the front of the pit.
