I've heard before that going to boarding school is not fun. But now, standing at the airport with my friends and family members, I thought that the idea of going to boarding school is too cool to be true. Excitement pumped in my veins, making me feel warm and tingling inside.

"Christine, are you sure you want to go? I could help you convince your parents to not let you go to that school. It sounds creepy and scary. Furthermore, you'll be flying for hours to somewhere so far! No one in my family has heard of that school before and there's no website or no results when I typed in the so-called name of your future school at Yahoo. You're really sure you want to go?" My best friend Amelia chattered away. It's hard to have a good friend who keeps talking, but what are friends for? I'll just have to listen to her talking and then give my comments whenever I think she needs.

"Amelia, I'm hundred percent sure that I want to go to that school. A boarding school sounds really nice to me and I can't wait to go there. If you're gonna miss me, why don't you come along? I'm sure we will have great fun together!" I replied excitedly.

Her face dropped. "That's the problem. My parents doesn't want me to go to an unknown school without anyone whom I know. Sure, my parents and I know you, but they're worried that something might happen to me there and they would hate to know that when something happened to me, they're not there to take care of me. Another reason is that they didn't even have the money to send me there."

"Well, if you really want to go, I can ask my dad to help sponsor you the money needed," I tried to comfort her. Well, actually, I'm a daughter of a damn rich father who just somehow got lucky at the stock market when I told him which to buy and which to sell. Surely he would listen to me because his wealth some sort of came from me and my brain, which in turn came from him. Sigh...he's not that petty.

"No. I can't spend your family's money. That's inappropriate."

"Christine! Your plane's coming!" My dad shouted across to me from another end of the departure hall. Out of the corner of my eyes I could see a few people nearby looking our way, but I ignored them. What's the use of glaring at strangers if that would bring nothing but trouble? Hm, I think I should tell you a tiny little bit more about me.

Basically, I look a little hotter than most girls, have long straight black hair that reached down to my waist (turns out to fit nicely to my face and I'm thankful for that), pale skin that is very hard to tan (I'm wondering whether I'm an albino? No offense to anyone), beautiful face without anything that shouldn't be there like pimples and the like (well ,the 'beautiful face' thing was what I repeated from many people though I think they did that to flatter me) and due to my dad's richness, he got me lots of so-called 'slutty clothes' for me in hopes that I would find a steady boyfriend soon (aw come on, there isn't any father in the world who doesn't want his daughter to be married to a trustworthy and honorable guy but I think this is shit. I hate people staring at me wherever I go).

I've got no fringe whatsoever unless you count front baby hairs as fringe. From a very young age till now, I didn't care about having fringe. I hate them so much like they're my enemies. There was once when I had baby hairs flying around my face when I was doing my artwork in class and I got super irritated with them and swore never to have fringe. This is kind of funny to me. Hahas. Back to the story.

It's time for me to board the plane to god-knows-where. I waved to Amelia and some of my classmates who kindly took time to send me off. Next, I went to my parents and hugged them. Before I hugged my dad, he said to me, "Please don't hate me when you reach your school. I have no choice, but then, after looking at what the school provides their students, I decided that you'll like it." "Thanks dad!"

(The PA system of the airport):

"Attention all passengers boarding the 8pm plane to the US, please make your way to the plane now. Thank you."
