I'm Packed Off To A Boarding School In The Middle Of Nowhere...Oh And I Don't Think They're Human~17~
Recap From Part 16:
"It's okay, we all drink straight from the carton! You wanna try?" Nick laughed heartily as he held the carton out to me as I shook my head. "Drinking straight from it once you take it out of the fridge is way fresher and tastier than if wait until you pour the milk into a glass."
"I don't speak guy language, I just wanna get my breakfast done," I held up my hands in front of me as if I was doing the 'surrender' pose.
"Good girl," he seemed to ponder about something for a while, then, "do you mind cooking for the rest of us?"
So this is my new life, serving as a maid to the six guys who are sharing the same apartment as me.
Part 17
Because the dining room was too small to fit the seven of us, we settled to eat our breakfast in the living room. As usual, Kes and Kres sat together, but as the days passed, I often felt that they weren't gay, that they were just acting as if they were. This is a mystery that I want to solve.
After our breakfast, Zel helped me to carry the dishes back to the sink, and Nick and Sam went down to the canteen to restock our supply of food in our apartment. Blake came in to help me with the washing of the dishes, and the twins went back to their rooms 'to read', according to them. I was glad that at least I have someone to help me with the dishes.
The first few minutes had been awkward, because I was constantly blushing and shy with him. As it dragged on longer, I was helpless not to look at him, at his handsome face. All those times I looked at him, I could swear he knew I was looking at him, but he might be only feigning ignorance, probably to embarrass me even more when we're back in our room, and I shudder to think what might happen then.
Would he try to kiss me again, or do something more-? I mentally slapped myself, angry that I had even thought of that. Of course he wouldn't, unless he's gonna ask some more favors from me. Typical jerk.
I washed the dishes, and he helped to dry them, and placed them back to the dish holders. Before I left the kitchen, Blake finally spoke. "Remember the laundry!"
Then, I don't know why, I found myself bolting straight for our room. I closed the door behind me and I leaned onto it. What the hell is happening? Why do I keep feeling like running away from him?
After a while, I decided that there was no need for me to hide. Sooner or later he would be coming back, and then there'll not be enough time for me to make a run for it. So, I ran back through the kitchen to the laundry room, and got all the baskets and went around everyone's room to get their dirty clothes. One similarity between them was that they would all dump their dirty clothes onto the floor, but thankfully Sam was the only one who piled his dirty clothes in one corner, which made it easier for me to collect.
Once I managed to carry seven full baskets back to the laundry room (some, like Kes ans Kres', were overflowing), I dumped Sam, Blake, and Zelda's clothes into the three washing machines and settled the other four baskets at the corner of the room.
I added in the washing powder and pressed the 'speedy' button on the washing machines. After all, there were too many clothes to wash and washing them in speedy was the only way out so that I could finish washing all by today.
To pass the time, I went about sweeping the floor, then paused to hang up the damp clothes for them to dry and proceeded to wash the other clothes. To fasten the speed of evaporation, I opened up the windows wide and I purposely carried a fan to the laundry room and blew it at the clothes. Then, after finish sweeping the floor, I moped it.
All the while I was slogging to do some of the household chores, the guys were watching another movie in the living room, spilling some popcorn and potato chips onto the floor. See how ungrateful they are?
Finally, the second round of clothes were done, and in went the third round of clothes.
This time, instead of doing the household chores, I went to the living room and watched the movie with the guys. Thankfully it was a movie I've watched before, so I didn't need to worry about the earlier part of the movie.
Not long later, I got up and went back to the laundry room to hang up the last batch of clothes. When I went back to the living room to check on the guys, I realized that the movie had finished and Blake was not sitting on the sofa with the others who were chatting like old women. Where was he?
I didn't need to wait long, because at that moment, he came in with his hair wet and with a towel around his waist and he bellowed, "Christine! You washed all my underwear!"
Oh did I? Great! Now he have nothing to wear!
I merely shrugged and replied, "Well, you told me to wash your clothes, and I didn't realize that all your undies were on the floor, you know, so you can't blame me. How about you walk around naked?"
"No way! I don't go around showing off my assets!" He looked horrified by my suggestion.
"You know very well this is a boys' school, Blake. What's wrong with showing other guys your.....little Blake?" I laughed. Unbelievably, his face turned red as a tomato and he stormed back into our room.
"Good one, Christine!" Nick clapped, and Zelda laughed with a pitch that was a little too high for my ears.
"Really, he did ask me to wash his clothes!" I stated innocently. "And I went around collecting all your clothes too!"
"No shit?!" This time, they all jumped off the couch.
"No shit. They all just came out of the washing machine. If you all are going to bath too then I suggest you all to blow-dry your underwear with the hairdryer," I smiled sweetly.
They all groaned.
