Back home, after we've packed up and headed back to my
house, I thought about what Kres had told me during our
talk as i combed through my hair in front of the dresser.
Blake was showering in the bathroom, and that left me
some free time to think before he comes out. The others
might hear me mentally, but most likely they might have
fallen asleep straightaway once their body had touched the
bed.
It is one of the reasons why I'm jealous of guys; their
hair becomes dried at an inhumanly fast pace even though
some of them don't give a shit about it.
Those sad words Kres had spoken...simply shows that he could still feel, though some people might solidify their
feelings and
become cold as stone. There must still be hope for him.
Up next, I went to set up my laptop so that I could check
my email. Many different kinds of emails are always sent to
me, so I had to look through them before deleting. Which
kind of takes up a lot of my time and piss me off sometimes.
Among them, there was an email sent by Aldrin, and, with
my heart in my throat, I clicked on the link to open it.
''Hi there Christine, Missed you quite a lot when you're not
around. Hopefully Blake has not been ill-treating you. Just
tell me if he ever bullies you, okay? By the way, another
three students had died, supposedly from food poisoning.
They are quite well known for being rebellious too.
Currently, nothing's trying to harm me yet, so don't worry
too much about me and enjoy your mini holiday. Goodbye
for now! :)"
~Aldrin~
"Aldrin still thinks I might have been bullying you? That's
funny," Blake came out and switched off thebathroom
lights, dressed in nothing but a pair of checkered
black and white boxers and slinging his towel so that it
rested on his shoulder.
"I thought you said you'd rather want me to tell you things
by myself?"
"But sometimes I get bored, so I tap into the weakest mind
I can find. I should tap into your mnd more frequently before you learn how to block off your mind!" He laughed
as a few droplets of water dripped from the wet spikes of
his hair onto the smooth surface for the floor.
With
heartwarming love, I got up from the chair and
took the towel from his shoulder
.
"Bend down a little," I said. Instead of doing only that, he
took the opportunity to give me a little kiss on my nose and
grinned
sheepishly.
Although I was very happy about the kiss he
gave me, I showed no signs of it in case he used that
against me and distract me from what I love to do.
In return, he combed my hair with his fingers, gently
parting the tangles, then made a slight 'tsk tsk' sound as he
reached the tips of my hair.
Looking down, I knew why he
had made
that sound. The long ends of my hair were still wet from
my shower, and my shower had been right before his, so
logically speaking, I should have dried my hair earlier.
"Sorry, I was busy," I whispered softly.
"Let me ask you something. Were you busy thinking about me?"
"What would you do if I said no?"
"Aw that's so cute!"
I shot him a look. "There's nothing about me that's cute,
you know."
"To me,you are always cute, especially when you've just woken up. Let's go to bed now, okay? I'm sure you're tired too. We've had a long day."
