im packed off to a boarding school in the middle of nowhere...oh and I don't think they're humans~42~
recap from part 41
"I guess we'll have to inform the office about this." Zelda said resignedly.
I struggled to get free of his arms, but he held on to me tightly. "Let me go! We've got to get Blake's ass back here! I don't want him to...die..."
"There's nothing we can do now, after he's ran off. We can only call the office and hope that he'll be back safe and sound."
part 42
(Unknown POV)
He smiled triumphantly as he saw Blake running round the corner, away from his apartment, away from Christine. He was so happy that Blake and Christine had had a couple's fight, and knew that if they had another fight, he would have a chance to get into Christine's life, to make her his girlfriend, and he'd spit at Blake, laughing at his failure to keep his girlfriend with him. He'll make the bully cry, destroy him while having his revenge. With just one tone, he'll kill two birds. How wonderful , he thought.
He thought he should have made the virus spreadable through many kinds of ways, but for now, he'll have to stick to infecting his victims himself. Whoever thought he was weak, would widen their eyes in horror as they see what they thought was impossible for him to do to come true.
Looking at his watch, he smiled yet again. Time for another victim.
-Christine's POV-
Zelda and I sat waiting in the living room, but it has been hours since Blake had ran out, and I was beyond worried about him. Please let him come back soon, I prayed silently.
I must have fallen asleep, because by the time I woke, the whole apartment was dark, and there was something covering me. I sat up, waiting for my eyes to adjust to the darkness, squinting at my surroundings to at least try to see where or which couch I was sleeping on. I made out a dark shape lying on another couch next to mine, and I moved forward to see who was sleeping on it. Sam.
He was close to hugging himself, and I could see that he had nothing to cover himself except the thin fabric of his clothes from the cold air from the living room's air conditioning which was on for twenty four hours each day. He must have covered me with his, that's why he was trembling now.
Feeling a little guilty, I covered the blanket over him and went back to sleep, but as I laid down, I felt someone covering me with a blanket. The same one as the one I used to cover Sam. Opening my eyes, I looked over at Sam's form, and said, "It's yours, Sam. You should be the one using it."
"You're a girl, so I should let you use it, you know, let me be a gentleman for a while, I haven't had training in that subject," he laughed softly.
"Any chance that I could make you change your mind?" I asked sleepily.
"Nope. Goodnight, Christine."
Oh no, he couldn't be thinking of sleeping in the cold and me heartlessly using his blanket. I got up and crawled over to where he was sleeping, then flopped down next to him and covered us both with the blanket.
"I-"
"No I. Sam, I won't let you freeze just because of me."
"But-"
"No buts."
"What if Blake sees this when he comes back? I don't want you two to have another fight again. Especially not because of me."
"We'll just say I fell asleep waiting for him, and we slept together under this blanket to share body heat to keep warm. We aren't going anything that makes me betray him, so it should be okay. Now sleep. Goodnight Sam."
-the next day-
"HOLY HELL I WAS GONE FOR LESS THAN A DAY AND THIS HAPPENS?!"
I opened my eyes sleepily and came face to face to a chest. A guy's. I knew that wasn't Blake, and I sat up so fast that my vision blurred for a moment. After I blinked for a while, I came face to face with Blake's angry face. "Good morning, Blake," I said cheerfully.
"What good morning? You mean you enjoyed sleeping in another guy's arms?!" Blake half-shouted, waking Sam in the process.
"Wha-? Oh, Blake. You're back. It's just a misunderstanding, Blake," Sam rubbed his eyes.
"So you're telling me everything's okay when you've been sleeping with my girl?" Anger blazed in Blake's eyes, he clenched his hands and gritted his teeth angrily. From my angle, he looked just like an angry bull, ready to charge any moment.
"Ah, Blake, you see, we were only sharing the blanket, nothing more. Believe me, please," I said in a low voice. "I didn't do anything unfaithful."
"Really?" He aimed his crazed eyes at me.
"Yes, really."
Without warning, he came and grabbed me by the waist, then headed back to our room in the blink of an eye. What's up with him?
He dumped me onto a bed roughly, the began removing my clothes with speed. "Blake!"
"Yes?" He growled impatiently.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he undid the buttons of my shirt. Actually, it was his shirt that I was wearing.
"Claiming what's mine. And make sure nothing like what happened just now doesn't happen again." He pulled off my pants, then looked at me with hunger in his eyes, replacing the anger I saw earlier.
