I'm packed off to a boarding school in the middle of nowhere...oh and I don't think they're humans~43~

recap from part 42

He dumped me onto a bed roughly, the began removing my clothes with speed. "Blake!"

"Yes?" He growled impatiently.

"What are you doing?" I asked as he undid the buttons of my shirt. Actually, it was his shirt that I was wearing.

"Claiming what's mine. And make sure nothing like what happened just now doesn't happen again." He pulled off my pants, then looked at me with hunger in his eyes, replacing the anger I saw earlier.

Part 43

So we ended up spending a few hours on the bed again, although Blake grabbing me all of a sudden and taking off might have shocked Sam a little, and I was a little embarrassed that Sam had seen Blake grabbing me like that, but other than that, I was kinda glad that no one else saw that. The guys would be teasing me for the rest of my life.

"Hey baby. Time to get up," Blake cooed. I laughed happily. I was so happy that I've forgotten that there was danger lurking around the school.

"Okay," I agreed. Absently, I touched the two puncture holes on the side of my neck, my thoughts drifting back to the time where he bit me, sucking my blood eagerly. We both had been quite out of our minds, but I don't feel a sting of regret. I like just the way that things turned out for us smoothly, excluding the fight we had just before he stormed out. Not saying that our relationship is dull, but I felt having more fights like this might help us strengthen the ties between us. Patching up like this feels good too, knowing that each other is forgiven. During the time we had laid together in the dark, Blake had told me what it means for a vampire to mate another, or in other words, claim another.

"It just have to be two vampires who truly love each other to mate. Like what I did. I bit you as we...ah...you know," he'd said. I remembered replying, "But I'm not a vampire. At least not yet. I'm not sucking blood or anything, you know." And I remembered him replying, "As long as you have vampire genes flowing through your blood, we're able to mate. Don't worry about our age though. There are such things as early matings, although it is not so common now. Many parents want their vamp kids to focus on their studies and careers first, just like what human parents worry about mostly."

"Christine baby?"

I blinked with a jolt and turned to look at Blake. He had turned on the room's special glowy orange lights, and was now bathed in the orangy dimmed lights and was looking down at me from where he was standing---in front of his closet.

"Yeah?"

"I..."

"Yes?"

"Is it okay if...you arrange for...er...us to meet your parents like this? I mean, they've got to know that I'm...responsible for you after our...mating...you know... yeah, that's what I want to say."

I continued looking at him as he avoided my eyes uneasily. "Blake...what about your parents?"

Silence blanketed us as he hesitated a little with his answer.

Finally, he dropped the bombshell.

"Both my parents are dead. The guy you saw in the hall was my uncle. He made me call him 'father' because he wants me to be constantly reminded that he have total control of me until I am of age."
