I'm packed off to a boarding school in the middle of nowhere...oh and I don't think they're human~28~

recap from part 27

Just outside the classroom, a bell sounded, signaling the end of this class. I couldn't believe it. Did two hours just pass that quickly?

"Let's go," Blake stood up immediately and held out his hand to me. "We've got a date up next." He winked at me.

Zelda and the others laughed and left, flowing with the stream of students piling out of he classroom, leaving Tallty, Blake, and I in the classroom.

When Blake and I were about to leave through the door, Tallty spoke behind us. "Don't be too smug."

Part 28

We ignored Tallty completely. Who says we had to listen to his crap anyway? He he he...

At one point, finally, Tallty walked to a different direction from us. Thank god we're rid of him, if not I knew what my date with Blake would be like: disaster.

"Baby, we're heading to the left," Blake whispered gently as we reached a point where two routes joined together. "Okay," I agreed readily.

Just moments later, we emerged from the route and out into the dark. It was wasn't so dark, really, it's only that the skies were all black and even the light from the windows from the school weren't enough to be bright. From here, they were only dim little lights but were beautiful if you look at it whole.

Blake walked me to the mouth of the trees slowly, romantically, and any doubt in me vanished as I saw what was under the tree nearest to us. There was a picnic mat below the tree, and on the picnic mat was food and drinks which I assumed that Blake had prepared for us. How thoughtful.

"There," he said as he made me sit down on the mat. "My beautiful princess Christine." And he sat down beside me.

"You prepared all these? By yourself?" I asked curiously, glancing around at the food.

"Yes, but I got the food from the kitchen," Blake told me warmly.

"So cute!" I squealed in delight, still excited that Blake had gone through the trouble to prepare this for me.

"You are cute too, Baby," he kissed me softly on my lips, then hugged me to him, wrapping his strong arms around me. When he talked, his voice reverberated around me ears, a melody to me.

This is what I had always dreamed of since I was just a little girl. I wanted a strong guy with me, patient enough to go through all these troubles just to prepare a picnic for us both, to guy each other under the sky, to enjoy the scenery all we want. This is what Blake and I are doing, and I was so elated that a few tears fell from my eyes. Blake had fulfilled my childhood dream.

"Baby what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Oh that anxious voice of his...

I shook my head. "I'm alright. Just too happy so I somehow cried, I guess. I'm really alright," I assured him as he looked at me doubtfully.

"I don't want you to cry, not because of me. I want to make you the happiest girl in the world, and I won't ever make you regret liking me," he promised sincerely, etching those words into my heart.
