The AMBU lead is to the Hokage's office. Haku's hand was curled around my wrist the whole time. I could tell that he felt uneasy about this. I wonder if we will be easily accepted like in the wattpad stories.

Meanwhile

KAKASHI

"Lord Hokage, I don't wan to contradict your judgement for what is best for the village," said Iruka as he leaned on Lord Hokage's desk. "But, letting a rouge ninja in ANBU and an alleged Kitsune run free? We already have our own fox to deal with."+

"Now Iruka," said Lord Hokage. "That's why we have Kakashi."

"Like I said, Lord Hokage, we already have our own fox... And now you want to put a Kitsune on Kakashi too? Isn't that too much? Especially with the Uchiha when you think about it."

"Iruka," I said. "Are you doubting my abilities?"

"No Kakashi, I'm just saying that this is going to get messy," said Iruka as he turned to me. "We know almost nothing about Kitsunes and that rogue boy, they could be spies."

"I highly doubt it," I said while slouching. "The girl's background is similar to Sasuke's, or so she tells me, and the only person who the boy can report to is dead."

"You are not getting it, what if she gets out of control? The little piece of information I have on Kitsunes is that they act on emotions and they have something like a bijuu's spirit sealed inside of them... What if she loses control?"

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in," said Lord Hokage.

The door opened to reveal a woman around her early thirties or so. She was wearing the standard cloud village attire: navy blue flack jacket, black cargo pants that went to her calves, a fish net shirt under her jacket and what looked like a black half bra underneath. She had her headband around her head and her weapon pouch on her right leg. She also had a katana on her back. Her hair was solid black and so were her eyes. her face was heart shaped and she had a pale complexion.

"How about I take the Kitsune off your hands?" she said while walking over to Lord Hokage's desk.

"How dare you approach the ho..."

"Give it a rest Iruka," I said while putting my hands behind my head. Man he could be a mother sometimes.

"Ah, miss Yukina," said Lord Hokage.

"Ryoku still hasn't recovered yet and I wanted to now if I could have borrowed your Kitsune for the Chunnin exam please?" she asked.

'Chunnin exam? But Mayuki is barely genin level."

"Well I don't see why not. She's all yours," said the Hokage before taking a drag of his pipe.

I looked at him and almost couldn't hide my stunned reaction.

"Lord Hokage!" cried out Iruka.

"Iruka, you didn't want the Leaf to have her, but you don't want to give her up?" said the Hokage with an amused grin on his face.

"But who knows, maybe... what if... Lord Hokage," stammered Iruka.

Yukine walked up to him and smiled. "Iruka is it? I have done more that risk my life to make the village safe just to keep my d..." she hesitated, however, only a trained eye and ear could have caught it. "Just to keep my name from dragging in the mud. Besides, this village is like a second home to me."
