MAYUK
My team and I had filled out our forms and went to the tent for our scroll. We went in and I smiled at the chunnin.
"Good luck, Mayuki-chan,"he said.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"Your name is all over the place, seeing as you saved the Honorable Grandson of Lord Hokage," he explained.
I blushed. "It's nothing."
We walked out after we were given a heaven scroll in which Hikari slipped into my ninja pouch.
"For safe keeping," she said with a small smile on her face.
"OKAY!" shouted Anko. "LINE UP AT YOUR GATES!"
We were given gate 20 so we stood there. My hands were sweating and my head was muddled with different things. I wanted to back out so bad. My chest was pounding and I felt as if I was going to puke.
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. "You're going to be fine with us Mayuki-chan. You are doing us a big favour so we will make sure no harm gets to you," said Hikaru.
I nodded.
"GO!"
And we were off as soon as the gates were open.
I was very slow compared to the other ninjas, but I had an advantage. I knew most of the traps and I knew exactly where the tower was.
We took a bit longer to get deep into the forest than most teams, but we did it without getting ambushed.
"Okay, here's the plan," said Hikari, but I cut her off.
"Hold on one second," I said. "Ninja art, Ice bubble shield jutsu."
"That's Yu..." started Hikaru, but Hikari stopped him with a sharp look. I pretended to not notice it.
After a few seconds of silence, I cleared my throat. "Anyway, we can talk without being interrupted."
"Okay," said Hikari with determination in her eyes. "We have to get an earth scroll and go to the tower. We need to avoid any fighting other than getting the scroll. We also have to move swiftly so as to keep Mayuki safe." she smiled at me. "So on the count of three, we go in head first."
"One..."
My eyes began to sting
"Two..."
My head began to pulse.
"Three..."
I blacked out.
When I opened my eyes, I was still in the forest, but this time, I wasn't me.
I was moving so swiftly, and it looked like I had scrolls in my hand. Like a bunch. They were heaven and earth scrolls, and I was placing them around the forest. I put one by gate 3, a water spring, a waterfall, in a huge Banyan tree, and inside a dead tree with what looked like dried blood on it in the shape of an X.
I did a few hand signs and blacked out.
"Woah," I said as I opened my eyes and found myself staring at a bunch of leaves.
"Phew, we thought we lost you there," said Hikaru as he looked down at me. He helped me up.
"What happened?" I asked. Of course I knew, but I want to know their point of view.
