I smiled at Miss Tsunami as I exited the house for one last time.

"It was really a pleasure having you stay with us. You're such a sweetheart," she said. "Take care now."

Haku, team seven and I were now leaving to go back to Konoha. I was really going to miss the Hidden Mist. Haku and I decided that there wasn't anything left for us in the Hidden Mist but broken memories and decided to try our luck in going to Konoha. Hopefully the Hokage is as nice as the anime portrays him to be. Kakashi said that we might be accepted with ANBU watching us 24/7, or we will be interrogated and imprisoned or even executed. Haku said that we should still press our luck however. It was weird though, how persistent he was in wanting to go to Konoha. But hey, maybe instead of Miss Anne knowing best, Haku knows best. I miss Father and Miss Anne. I sighed.

At the bridge, Naruto and Inari were bawling out their eyes. I glimpsed over to Sakura who had a bit of sadness in her eyes and Sasuke who was stoic as usual. Haku had a mixture of emotions in his eyes, but he was doing well to hide it. Suddenly, he turned his head towards me and looked me in the eyes. He offered a small smile and turned his head back.

I sighed. I really didn't want to leave the mist. As messed up as it sounds, I have grown attached to this place. Flip, my first sensei is buried here. A wave of sadness washed over me suddenly. Haku would have been buried here as well if I hadn't tried to save him. I look at my small hands I still don't know how, but I was able to freeze Kakashi's hand just before the chidori hit, which weakened it. I shook my head and pulled my backpack higher on my back.

"Bye everyone!" shouted Naruto as we began our journey to Konoha.

I was walking beside Sasuke, bored as ever. Suddenly, as if someone smashed a light bulb over my head, I got an idea.

"Hey Sasuke," I whispered. He looked down at me and 'hned'.

"Guess what," I said while looking up at him. He raised an eyebrow as his onyx eyes stared into my dark blue ones.

"What?" he asked with curiosity laced in his voice.

I paused to get the straightest face that I could have mustered up.

"What Mayuki?" he asked.

"Duck butt," I said. There was a deafening silence that fell on us like a thick blanket.

"Hahahahahah!" said Naruto, breaking the silence. "Duck...ahaha...Butt! His hair is shaped like a duck butt ttebayo!" He began to roll on the floor. Kakashi let out a small snicker, Sakura was acting all angry, but I knew she wanted to laugh, and Haku was smirking.

"I'm surrounded by idiots," muttered Sasuke as he began walking off. I began to walk with him, but my foot hit a rock and I began to fall. Before I knew it, Sasuke had caught me by my arm. Suddenly, I felt my eyes sting worse than how it use to and a shock pulse through the arm that Sasuke had touched and I blacked out.

SASUKE

I caught Mayuki before she fell on her face like the loser she was. Suddenly, she fell limp and I caught her under her armpits before she fell on the ground. My heart began to race. I think I may have killed her by snapping her arm out of place or something. What do I do!
