Chapter 28: Let the Exams Begin

We all sat down in our respectful seats after we picked our numbers. I was sitting between a girl from  Iwa. she had blonde hair that went to her back and dark green eyes. She was wearing a black fishnet shirt with a black half bra under it, and black fish net pants with black boy shorts under it. Her headband was around her waist which was bare. She had on black ninja boots from what I could. To my right, was another girl with lavender hair that was in a pixie cut and a short spiked ponytail on the left side of her head. She had light brown eyes with a solid black line coming across them looking as if she was wearing a mask. She was wearing a short purple kimono with black cherry blossoms in random places and pink ninja boots. Her headband was light pink and it had the mist symbol on it.

"Okay you maggots!" shouted a voice. I looked up and saw Ibiki Morino, but that's not what got my attention. It was the ninja that was next to him that got it. The ninja had on a fox mask and strangely had the same light brown eyes as Haku. I let out a soft squeak when the ninja winked at me.

"I hope that your boyfriend doesn't cheat from you Cloud scum, ano. And don't you think that it is weird having a boyfriend from a different village from yours, eto?" said a voice. I looked over, and saw the Iwa ninja looking at me. I smirked and decided to have some fun. I just hope that I don't get in trouble for this, or she at least catches on.

"That's none of your business, UN," I said while smirking. Thank goodness for Sasuke who's always smirking all of the time. I side glanced at her and to my satisfaction, her eyes were widened about 1/20 of how they originally were.

"You know the Iwa bomber?" she whispered.

"Like I said, yeah, that's none of your business, un. Stay out of the cloud's beeswax, yeah," I responded.

By now, the girl was shaking, and it looked like she wanted to raise her hand. It was at that moment, the crap hit the fan.

"Tha...that's my brother, ano," she whispered.

"Number 25 and 26!" screamed Ibiki. "If you don't shut your traps, I'll be forced to disqualify you which means the disqualification of your teams."

I rolled my navy blues and watched as Haku shook his head.

Ibiki went back to explaining the rules. I already knew them, so I zoned out.

'Was Kishimoto wrong? I thought Deidara was a loner.'

"Begin!" I was snapped out of my thoughts by Ibiki's loud mouth.

I knew the concept of the test, but I still wanted to see if I could have cheat. I knew the Leatogan was good for seeing the future, and I can control it just a little bit. So what can I do? I was thinking that I should mirror Naruto and pretend to freak out so it doesn't look like I know about the true intentions of the test. Or, just do this. If I'm going to be a proper ninja, seeing as if it looks like I'm going to be stuck, I might as well do this.

I looked around. The girl from Iwa looks smart and experienced, but I glanced at the girl from Kiri. Her fingers were twitching, but why? I continued watching her and that's when I noticed it, a small mist cloud around her eyes. It wasn't noticeable, but once you look closely, you would see it. Probably because I was around Zabuza and Haku in the mist, I could have recognized it. Now, where was she looking, because obviously, there would have to be another mist cloud scouring for the answers. Maybe I can see if I can copy from the person who she was copying from.
