Chapter 37- Captured Both Ways

Hey guys. I am very sorry that I was MIA for a few weeks. College (yes, sparkle616 I am in college) has been hectic with all the assignments. I am doing 7 classes all from 8am and I leave school at 8pm Monday through Friday, and my major is English Education, so I have many papers to write for school and keep up with my updates. Ummmm my birthday was on Sunday. I'm 19 now xD. What else? Ummmmm the book is coming to a close soon. MAYUKI

It's been about 3 weeks now. I could feel myself getting stronger under the guidance of Itachi. With every passing day, I could feel myself getting more attached to my cousin (who is not really my cousin xD), and everyday, I have to remind myself that he is going to die. 

I sighed as I came out of my meditation. I haven't seen Haku in three weeks and I was starting to miss him. However, Itachi said that maybe it's best to not see him and to keep focused in my training.

Anyway, Apparently, since I am technically an Uchiha, I can use fire style jutsu, and... wait for it... I have the gene for the sharringan, but Itachi says that it isn't likely that I get it.

"You're supposed to stay in meditation for another hour, Mayuki," said Itachi as I sat next to him on a tree branch. Right now, we are in the forest, and I was focusing on building and storing chakra through meditation.

"I know, I know," I said as I fidgeted with the hem on my black ninja kimono. "But I feel so restless."

"You're mother will be back for you tonight, by the way," said Itachi.

"Hm, really?" I said as I hunched my back and put my hands on my knees.

"I hope you're still not mad at her," he said.

I playfully punched him in the arm. Itachi is like a brother to me now. Sasuke is lucky to have a brother like him, always looking out for him and such.

"No, I'm not." I ran a hand through my hair. It was way longer than it was when I first got here. "It's that it's so overwhelming. How could she be from a whole other dimension, and never told my father or Miss Anne, and now we are both here why the ones who love us are there searching for us."

"Hn," said Itachi as he got up. "Let's do one more round of training."

I nodded and got up.

We went over every jutsu that I was thought by him and Kisame and I was exhausted. We worked to the point of me having to transform into my Kitsune form and using that chakra.

I was currently on the floor panting. I was super tired and couldn't move, but yet a huge smile was plastered onto my face. I had just went up against two akatsuki members and I held my own against them. I deserve a medal or something.

"Good work, kid," said Kisame and he scooped me up. "We'll tell Yukina to come for you in the morning." With that, I blacked out.

Sleep, I need to sleep. She is the only one who can help me sleep. I knew those men would put up a challenge if I just tried to take her by force. The one with the dark hair and red eyes had already foiled my plans a few nights ago. I should have killed him then and there.
