4:36 p.m.
Julian tried desperately to reach for his phone, only it was just out of reach. It hurt too much to try anything else. Blood poured from multiple places around his body. One on his neck was bleeding fast, leaving him lightheaded, or was that because of the fact he hit his head on the window? He didn't know, all he did know is that he needed someone to find him quickly if he wanted to survive this. His right leg was completely numb below his knee, it was also crushed by his car. He used the last of his strength to put pressure on his stomach, trying to stop some of the bleeding. Breathing was getting harder for him. His vision blurred and he started to fear the worst.

12:32 p.m.
Julian sat in the Metro-Court restaurant waiting for Alexis. They'd planned on having lunch together for a while but she finally got the time and he wasn't ready to let her eat alone. He felt arms wrap over his shoulders, he turned up to see Alexis. "Hey." he greets.  "Hey yourself, let's get some food I'm starving." she says. He smiles at her. He wants to eat a meal out with his wife but his appetite has been close to nothing lately. He hasn't eaten breakfast and the night before barely touched the food on his plate.
Thankfully, Alexis hadn't noticed yet, or just hadn't mentioned it. They chatted for a few minutes before a waitress came over. He watches as Alexis orders, soaking up every word she says, every move she makes knowing he may not be able to see her every day soon. When their waitress turned to him and asked him what he wants he choked. "Uh, I'll have an um, small salad, with just a glass of water." He orders. The waitress leaves, leaving Alexis staring at Julian.
"What?" he asks, trying to sound normal. "What?" she mimics. "You just ordered a small salad and water, are you sure you're alright cause you didn't order anything from the bar or any form of protein. Its just, this isn't like you." she says. He reaches across the table and holds her hand. "I promise you, I'm fine." he lies. She doesn't seemed convinced, still staring at him like he's a hurt puppy. "I really wish I could believe that." she states.
They eat their meals without bringing it up again, mostly talking about their kids. Julian only eats about half of his salad and a few sips of water. "If you were sick you'd tell me right?" she asks out of nowhere. "Of course I'd tell you something like that." He states. "But you aren't eating, you hardly sleep. Julian something is wrong and I need you to tell me." she begs. "I know that you're worried about me but this isn't something you can help with." He tells her. "Are you back in the business?" she asks. "I'll explain later." He says, her expression changes from scared to angry. "You'd better have a damned good explanation." she says. "I have a reason, and this isn't what I want to do, but I can't explain here, or now. There's something I have to do, and no, it has nothing to do with the business. I love you Alexis." He tells her. She hesitates but eventually says I love you back.
He gets up and leaves the restaurant, pulling out his phone as he goes. He dials a number and holds it to his ear. "It's Julian Jerome, we really need to talk. Can you meet me at pier 54 in 20 minutes?... Okay great. Oh and thank you for meeting me, I know this isn't something you expected but trust me you'll wanna hear what I have to say." He says, hanging up. He puts his phone back on his pocket and makes his way to his car.

5:22 p.m.
Lucas stood in the Emergency room, waiting for someone to need him. "Jones we got a car crash in 3." someone calls out. Lucas nods and rushes behind the EMTs. "Male, we're guessing mid 40s to 50s. Car was found on the side of the road him still in it, caller doesn't know how long he was there for." one of them says. "He doesn't look so good." one of the nurses points out. Lucas joins them in the OR just after they get him on the table. "Oh my God." Lucas says. "Dad!" he explained rushing to the table side.
"We gotta move fast Lucas he's lost a lot of blood and he's still bleeding." the nurse tells him. "I know I know, get his shirt off it's in the way." he tells them. "Someone who's not doing anything call Alexis Davis, she's his wife." He says. "On it." one of the EMTs says. "Hang on Dad, you'll be okay."
