7:32 a.m.
Julian goes down stairs to get the door. "Hey, I didn't see you yesterday I got worried." she tells him. "Well we left a bit early. Something happened and your mother wanted to go. Shame you missed it the service was nice. It was just what Arthur would have wanted." He says. "What happened?" she asks. "You're mother told me she doesn't want to worry you."
"Dad, what happened to her?" she asks. "Arthur's father, he grabbed her arm, pretty hard. She's alright, he didn't get a chance to hurt her." He tells her. "Oh God. Is she up? I wanna see how she's doing." Sam says. "No she's still asleep. I actually just woke up myself. She had trouble falling asleep last night so I'm not sure how she'll sleep. I fell asleep pretty fast so I'm not sure exactly how long she was up. I wasn't feeling too good, I think I'm coming down with something." he says.
"Well take care of yourself. I'll come by later to see Mom." she tells him. "Alright I'll see you honey." He kisses her forehead goodbye.

9:45 a.m.
Julian sits on the bed and leans over to kiss Alexis. "How long have you been up?" he asks. "Just a little while." she tells him. "How are you feeling?" he asks. "I'm better than yesterday. I don't why but that really got to me. I don't know if it was cause I wasn't expecting it or I'm just sensitive caused I'm stressed."
"Well, I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you. Ever." He promises. "You're so wonderful." she gushes. "You're better." He smiles. He brushes some hair off her face. "Would you like some breakfast?" he asks. "I'll go make something in a little bit." she says. "Or I can go make you some." He offers. "Thank you baby, but you don't have to." she tells him. "What would you say it I already made something?"
He bends over and pulls a bed tray off the ground. He puts it next to her on the bed. "Oh Julian. You made me breakfast in bed!" she sits up and kisses him. "You do so much for me. You deserve breakfast in bed every morning, but I hope once and a while will do." He says. "It's perfect." she says. "I'm glad you like. It looks pretty good but I'm not exactly sure how good it tastes. Should be decent." He says.
"I'll be the judge of that." she says, taking a bite from the omelette. "Mmm, this is so good." she says. "Here taste." she puts her hand on the back of his neck and pulls him in for a kiss. "Now have some omelette." she says. He takes a bite and smiles in satisfaction. "Now you gotta share all this with me." she tells him. He climbs over her and gets under the covers next to her. She laughs as he flops onto the bed next to him. He puts his arm over her and pulls the tray up to her.

7:12 p.m.
Though they weren't keen on the idea of seeing the Finchs again, but they'd gotten a new flight and tonight was the only time they'd be able to read Arthur's will. Olivia had reserved a table in the Metro-Court restaurant to keep them in a public place.
Lila had shown up but Arthur's parents hadn't been staying in the Metro-Court and weren't there yet. Julian had positioned himself so when Harold Finch showed up he'd be as far from Alexis as possible.
Julian keeps his eyes on Alexis. She looks down at her lap and wraps her arms around her stomach. He puts a hand on her shoulder and slides until his arm his around her shoulders. "You're gonna be okay. Everything is gonna be fine. I swear." He says. "I know." she turns and kisses him. "I'll go see if they're here yet." he offers. "I love you." He adds.
He walks into the main entrance, having seen them walk in. "Here's how tonight's gonna go." He starts. "You're walk inside and apologize to my wife. After you do so you will not speak directly to her for the rest of the night. You will not make eye contact. If you touch her any way, shape, or form, I will break your hand without hesitation. You will take whatever is given to you and you will not argue. Are we clear?" he demands.
"Yes Mr. Jerome, I think we are." He answers. "Good. Now I'm gonna go back to the table. You're gonna wait about thirty seconds then follow. There will be no mention of this conversation and you will act like you haven't seen me yet." He states.
He walks back to the table and sits down. "I didn't see them but they'll be here soon." He says. He counts down in his head and they walk in. They sit across from Julian and Alexis at the table. Julian narrows his eyes. "I'm so very sorry about how I acted yesterday Mrs. Jerome." He says, making it obvious he's been told to say it. Luckily for Julian it would seem more like his wife told him.
Alexis makes no effort to acknowledge him. "So let's get started. Arthur leaves all money and possession to Julian Victor Jerome. He has farther instructions where to send money but it's not a legal statement and up for Mister Jerome to decide whether or not he does what was asked with the money. He's asking that these letters be given to the people they're assigned and instructions be followed if they're provided. These are Mr. Finch's exact words."
She slides two letters across the table to Arthur's parents. They pick theirs up and open them. Alexis passes one to Lila. She opens her. "Arthur says he loves me. He knows I'm sorry for not talking to him. He would have left me money, but he doesn't know he can trust me anymore. He wishes me and my family the best of luck." she says.
"Mine says for me to read aloud. 'Dad, you wanted me to die of AIDs. You got your wish. If I truly go to Hell, I'll see you there. You're an awful man and I hate you. I left you none of my money or anything.' I'm not going to say the rest of this out loud. Its quite vile." He says. Julian laughs and holds his head.
"How does it feel to know you failed as a father. Not because your son was gay, but because you couldn't accept him for who he was. He was smart, brave, and he was a hero. Maybe I was a bit confused when my son came out to me but I love him all the same. You will never be a decent man. And you know the worst part of it all? When I first meet Arthur and he made his money by dancing mostly naked for other men, he still looked up to you. I saw when he started to resent you. I saw, I saw the hate when it was new. I saw it before he did."
Harold stares in disgust at Julian. He shifts his gaze ever so slightly to Alexis. Julian stands up, slamming his hands hard on the table. "What did I say?" he screams, causing everyone in the restaurant to look over at him. He takes a deep breath and sits back down. "I think you should leave." Julian says. "You don't have the authority." He challenges. "No but I do." Olivia says. "I own this hotel and the restaurant we're in right now. I'm asking you to leave or I'll have you dragged out."
"This town is full of mad men. Or perhaps its just the people my son was around." He says, getting up and walking off. "I'll join you in a moment Harold, I have to use the restroom." his wife says. As soon as he's gone she turns to Alexis. "May I speak with you alone?" she asks. "Not alone, but with Julian yes." she says.
They walk off out of earshot of Lila and Olivia. "I'd like for you to read the letter my son left for me." she says, handing the paper to Alexis.

Dear Mum,
Don't let Dad read this. I love you. I know you never hated me. Even after you knew what I was. You still loved me and I understand why you never said anything. I know Dad used to hit you. Just like he would me. I knew you took beatings for me and I appreciated it with every breath I took. I know I'm not the son you wanted, but you're the mother I wanted.
You don't have to stay with him. You never have. If you do what's best for you and leave him, I'll have Julian give you all the money you'll need to start over. Why do you think I had two cars and two apartments? For me Mum, don't let him control you. Go with Lila, her letter has more details.
~ Your son

Alexis hands her the letter back and wipes her eyes. "I didn't know." she says. "No one but Arthur did. He tried protecting me when he was as small as four. A natural born hero. I didn't deserve him, now I've lost him and I can't even grieve. I'm not going home with Harold, I'm going with Lila. I wouldn't have ever even dreamt of it if he hadn't hurt you yesterday. I married a monster."
"I'm sorry for all he's done. I'm going with my daughter and we wont cause you any more problems. I promise on our Lord's name." she says. She goes back over to the table and hugs her daughter. Alexis backs into Julian. "That's not at all what I expected to happen tonight." she tells him. "Me neither. Arthur never mentioned actually being hit."
"Julian." Lila says. "Thank you so much." she says, leaving. Julian rubs his head. "I need to go get drunk." He states. "I second that, let's go him." Alexis says. Julian grabs a chair to stop himself from falling. "Julian?" Alexis grabs his arm. "Are you alright?" she asks. "Yeah, just got dizzy." He says. He goes to walk off and falls to the ground. Alexis drops to the ground next to him. "We're going to the hospital, now."

8:01 p.m.
"I'm just dehydrated?" Julian asks Lucas. "Yeah, seems like you haven't had any water in days. When was the last time you had something to drink?" he asks. "I, I'm sure." He admits. "So he's gonna be alright?" Alexis asks. "Yeah, just gonna keep him on the IV a little while longer and he's cleared to go home. Dad you gotta start taking better care of yourself." He warns. "I am taking care of myself. I wanna be there for the baby I plan on having. I don't what happened."
"I'm talk to Dr. Monroe about the pain meds your on. I guess whatever your on causes dehydration." He says. "Fantastic." He says sarcastically. "I'll be back in a little while." he tells him. "Alexis something's wrong." Julian says. "Should I call Lucas back?" she asks. "No, I'm alright, but the D.A.s here." He says pointing. "I'll go see what's going on." she tells him.
Alexis walks over and talks to Paul. From the distance, Julian can't tell what they're saying. Alexis walks back over. "Carlos was being brought to go take a shower, and he was attacked by a drunk. He's gonna be alright, minor cuts and bruises." she tells him. "I think we should get you out of here." she suggests. "I'm feeling much better, can you get Lucas and have him discharge me?"

8:31 p.m.
"Well I'm not sure about you but I've lost the motivation to get drunk. I'm gonna go have a big glass of water, take a shower and go to sleep. But before I do you're gonna tell me why you're so scared of the D.A." He tells her. "I'm not scared of the D.A." she says. "I can tell, you're not just scared of him as a professional, you're scared of him as a person. What did he do to you?" he asks. "Jules."
"Did he make advances? Did he threaten you? Alexis did he try to hurt you?" he asks. "No, to all of that." she says. "Than what did he do?" he asks. "I cant tell you. But I'm safe. So are you. Don't worry about it." she tells him. "Hmph. Okay, if you say not to worry about it, I won't." he tells her.
She puts her head on his chest. "So about that shower, are you gonna make me take it alone?"
