General Hospital Rewrite Part One

September 8th 2016

6:29 a.m.
     "I've never been on an airplane." Jo tells Julian. "Never?" he asks. "Never. I've never even been on a train. Or a boat. I've only ever ridden in a car or truck." she says. "You poor deprived child." he jokes. "Well, I didn't have a rich father who would take me to fun places." she says. "I'm sorry kiddo." he says. "It's not your fault you had the unfortunate luck of meeting my mother." she says. "If I hadn't meet her I wouldn't have you. Every second was worth it." he tells her.
     Alexis walks down the stairs with Leo. "Little man's all set. You two ready?" she asks. "Ready as I'll ever be." Jo says. "Let's get to Bradley." Julian says.

8:54 a.m.
     "This place is huge!" Jo admires. "Did you see the plane with the wolf on it?" she asks. Julian laughs. "There's Sam." Alexis points out. Leo kicks off one of his shoes. "Really?" Julian says. Leo giggles and starts squirming in his stroller. Julian puts Leo's shoe back on only for him to kick it off again. "Is this how this trip is gonna go?" he asks. He unbuckles Leo and carries him the rest of the way to Sam. "Hey." Sam greets. Danny jumps at Jo and hugs her. Everyone greets each other.
     "Now we just go through security and we can get on the plane." Alexis says. "We got plenty of time, let's take it slow." Julian says.

9:57 a.m.
     Jo looks out the window of the plane. "This is so cool." she says. "Wait till we're in the air." he tells her. She swallows hard. "You scared?" he asks. "What? No!" she says defensively. "It's okay to be scared. You can hold my hand if you want to." he says. She nudges his arm. He smiles at her. He opens his hand and puts it so she can hold it. She looks at it skeptically but as the engine starts she holds his hand. He smiles down at her.
     She keeps presses to his side as the plane takes off. "Jo, look out the window again." he tells her. She shakes her head. "Come on kiddo." he presses. She slowly peers out the window. "Wow." she says quietly. The ground gets smaller as the plane gets higher. "Better?" he asks. "Better." she says. "Alexis, Leo doing okay?" he asks. "The rocking put him right to sleep." she tells him. He smiles. "Sam, you and the boys okay?" he asks across the aisle.
     "Danny's a little nervous. Jason, how's Jake?" she asks. "He's good." he replies. "We're all good here Dad. How's Jo?" she asks. "Better now that we're off the ground." he says. "Mom, how you and Leo?" Sam asks. "Your little brother's asleep, wish I could sleep though." she tells her. "Try to get some sleep babe." Julian tells her. "It's too loud. It's not that long a flight." she replies.
     "Still try and rest." he says. "I will." she promises. By the time Julian looks over at Sam and Danny, Danny's started to relax and Sam's already drifting off. Jo's still staring out the window and Leo's sleeping. "Alexis?" he asks quietly. "Yeah honey?" she asks. "How you feeling?" he asks. "I'm good. I've felt really great the last few days. I don't know if it's because of the trip or just because I'm finally out of my first trimester. Either way, I'm not complaining. I am gonna try to sleep. Are you?"
     "No, I'm gonna stay awake." he tells her. "See you in three hours." she says. "I'd kiss you but its impossible." he laughs. She laughs at him.

12:13 p.m.
     Julian unlocks the hotel room and opens the door. "Welcome to your home for the rest of the week." he says. "I've never been in a hotel room with this much room." Jo says. "Well, only the best for my family." he replies. Jo hugs him. "I love you Dad." she says. "I love you too Jojo." he hugs her back. "Go unpack, we're having dinner with Sam and Jason and the boys." he tells her. "I gotta go do something for Leo. I'm not sure what but he's so upset right now. I think it's all the noise and the new place and the plane ride. He's not a happy camper." she says.
     "Awe my little man." Julian says. "Here, you take your grumpy boy. I'll take the happy girl." she says, passing Leo over and hugging Jo. "Why you angry buddy?" he asks. Leo grunts. Julian tickles his stomach. Leo wiggles around and starts laughing. "He's not angry. He knows we're on vacation. Isn't that right bud?"
     Julian tickles him to get him to respond. Leo squeals and kicks his feet around. "You want your binky?" he asks. He gets Leo his pacifier and puts him down with some toys so he can unpack. Jo finishes getting all her stuff in a drawer and sits with her little brother. Leo laughs at the faces she makes. Alexis comes up behind Julian and puts her hands on his shoulders. He smiles. 

The next part may take a day or two but it's gonna be the Jerome/Morgan day one in Disney and Universal. Not sure what I'm gonna start with. Guess we'll both find out soon enough.
