4:21 p.m.
"Do you wanna talk or something?" Cassy asks Jodie. "Not really." she says, looking out the window. "You really didn't have to do that." Cassy says. "I did." Jo starts getting annoyed. "You're torturing yourself." Cassy says. "Maybe I deserve it." Jo says. Cassy slams on the breaks, making them both jerk forward. "What the Hell Cas!" Jodie demands. "Shut up. Shut up! You are one of the best people I've ever known and you just hate yourself for some stupid reason. You're smart, and funny, and caring, and gentle and good. You're a survivor and a protector. You're amazing. You're what I wanna be. How do you hate yourself so much?"
"I don't know." she says. "You say that a lot. You claim you don't know but you do know. You just can't admit it to yourself. You can't admit that you're worth it." Cassy claims. "Fine, fine I hate myself. I hate myself because everyone I love gets hurt. I hate myself because I'm a curse. People around me suffer, get hurt, die." she trails off. "I hate myself because I'll never be good enough for anyone." she adds softly. "You're perfect to me." Cassy starts. "Your dad and step mom think the same. Your older brother and sister. Your nephews. Your little brother who looks at you like you're his hero." she lists. "You're not only good enough for them, you're perfect."
Jo looks back out the window. "Fine, be that way." Cassy starts the car and hits the gas. It takes Jo a while to realize they're not heading back to Port Charles. She looks over at Cassy, her blonde hair falling over her face, shielding her eyes from Jo. "Where are we going?" Jo asks when they hit a dirt road. "You'll see." Cassy answers, maneuvering the winding, unpaved road. Jo takes a deep breath and looks into the trees. She sees a shadow of her and Jensen running with big backpacks full of food. She blinks away the image.
She zones off, thinking of the good times, hiking through the woods with her mother and Tom, pretending to have freedom with Jensen. Cassy stops the car and gets out. Jo follows her out of the car and over to the ledge. "Why are we here?" Jo asks. "This is my happy place. My dad doesn't know I come here. It helps me to breath. If you look really closely, you can just barely see Port Charles." she points to the horizon. "Yeah, I see." she says. "It's so beautiful up here." Jo comments. "Beautiful." Cas says, looking at Jodie.
Jo closes her eyes and let's the cold breeze blow her hair. She breathes in the fresh air. Cas wraps her arms around Jo's waist from the back and rests her head on her shoulder. "I can show you the world, shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?" she sings. Jodie laughs and turns around. She blinks and looks away. "We should get home. My parents will want me home for dinner." Jo says. Cassy's smile fades a little but stays on her face. "Yeah, yeah okay." she lets her arms fall and heads back to her car.
"So when you getting your license?" Cas asks to change the subject. "Soon enough. I have to wait cause I collapsed and I've had seizures. It shouldn't be too long now." she says. "Maybe you can start driving me places so I don't have to borrow my dad's." she says. "Someday. You coming tomorrow?" Jo asks. "I don't know. I'll ask my dad later." she says. Jo knows this means she's not but she nods anyways. They keep the subjects light as they head home.

5:45 p.m.
Jo walks out of the kitchen with a plate of chicken. "Alright it is hot and I mean like just came out of the oven hot so don't touch it cause you'll get burned." she warns everyone. "Okay well we will just eat the salad than, unless that's hot too." Julian replies. She puts the chicken down and puts her hands on her hips. Alexis glances at Jo and back over at Julian. "She's gonna hit you." she laughs. "You wouldn't beat up an old man?" Julian teases. She narrows her eyes in a playful way. "Could you say that again? I wanna record you saying you're an old man."
He sticks his tongue out and laughs. Jodie giggles as she sits. "I know it's not Thanksgiving yet and I'm gonna say it tomorrow, but I'm so thankful for you four." He says, brining a smile to Kristina's face. Alexis runs a hand over her stomach and smiles at him. "I love you all." Alexis says. "I love you guys too." Jodie says. "Same goes for me." Kristina says.

"Don't you yell at me! I told you to pick up the pizza a half an hour ago and you did nothing!" Lucas yells. "Well I didn't get a text!" Brad yells back. "We don't have enough left overs for all three of us! Jackson's looking forward to pizza!" he yells. "I'll go pick up the damn food! Calm the Hell down!" Brad barks. "It's not about the pizza, it's about you! You are so irresponsible. We have a kid to feed." Lucas reminds him loudly. "Don't hide behind Jackson." Brad warns. "Like you really care." Lucas growls. "I do care. You're acting like an asshole."
Brad whips around and makes his way to the door. "Where the Hell do you think you're going?" Lucas demands. "To get the God damn pizza!" Brad slams the door behind him. Lucas' shoulders fall. He walks slowly and knocks on Jackson's door. He doesn't get an answer so he opens it and looks in. Jack's on the floor with his knees pulled to his chest and his face in his hands. Lucas sits across from him. "I'm so sorry you heard that." He apologizes. Jack looks up with red eyes and wet cheeks. Lucas pulls him close. "I'm so sorry."
Jackson clings to him. "I didn't mean what I said to Brad. He loves you too." Lucas tells him.
