3:12 p.m.
Sam grabs Alan's arm before he falls. "You need to breath." She warns. "My Carla." he cries. "Breaking down isn't gonna help her. You need to pull yourself together. For your kids." She says. "Dad!" Nadia runs and takes over comforting him. "I talked to someone. They told me that the fighting just started everywhere at the same time. A dozen or so staff got to a safe place and they were able to get them out. They're on the way here. They say some have minor injuries and some are more serious but they have nothing about who's there and who's not."
"I can't do this." he breaths. "Dad, I can't go through this alone." Nadia says. He wipes his cheek and rubs his forehead. "Where are your brothers?" he asks. "Neil's at work and I can't through to him. PJ just got in the car, maybe twenty minutes." She says. "Okay, okay." he whimpers. Sam touches his arm. "I should go." She says. "Yeah, yeah it'd be better for you and the baby." he agrees. "You'll call me or my mother right?" she asks. He nods. Nadia wraps her arms around her father. "I'm here Dad."

Julian opens the door and moves aside for Jo. She walks in and kicks her shoes off. "Hi honey, how are you feeling?" Alexis asks. "Fan-freakin-tastic." She replies. Julian shoots her a glance. "I just need some time alone." She says, taking off upstairs. Alexis walks into Julian's arms. "How is she?" she asks. "Upset. She gave off a lotta mixed emotions today and talked to a lot of people with different feelings about Tom and I'm sure she's confused and hurting." he tells her. "How are you?" she asks. "Fine. With everything that's been going on I'm a little tired but things are getting back to normal."
"Thanksgiving in a few days away." She says. "It's gonna be a revolving door of people." Julian points out. "It'll be exhausting but Niels offered to do the turkey and people are brining stuff so that takes a lot of work off us." She reminds him. "That's true. Jo say what she wanted to make?" he asks. "Jo said nothing about making anything. I don't think she is." She says. "That's not like her." he comments. "She's got a lot going on, with Tom and prep for the trial she's probably all worked out." Alexis says. "Speaking of the trial, how's it looking?"
"He'll be found guilty, no doubt. His lawyer will be fighting for how much time he gets. He might only spend a few years." She says. Julian shakes his head. "That's not gonna work for me. He needs to be be put away for good." Julian says. "Diane and I are gonna try to convince the judge he's dangerous and can't be rehabilitated." She says. "Maybe we should've hired prosecution lawyers." he says. "Diane and I may be defense lawyers but we know how to play for the other side." She states. "I know, I'm just not all that happy that you're gonna be in court. You said you'd stop when you started to show." he reminds her.
"I'll be sitting most of the trial. Diane will do all the talking. I'll be fine." She assures him. "Hey," she puts his hands on her stomach, "we'll be fine." She corrects. He smiles and kisses her. There's a frantic knock on the door. Julian pulls away and answers it. "Sam? What's wrong?" he asks, wrapping his arms protectively around her. "There's a riot at Pentonville. Some staff is trapped inside. Alan's wife works at Pentonville. He doesn't know if she got out. Carla might be trapped." She tells them shakily. Alexis covers her mouth.
"I wasn't gonna come but I was driving home and Danny and the boys aren't home and I couldn't be alone." She says. Julian kisses her head. "We're here for you." he says. "We need to go the hospital. We gotta be there for them." Alexis says. "You and I will go. Sam why don't you stay here with Kristina, Jodie, and Leo?" he suggests. "Okay." She says softly. "Kristina!" Alexis calls. She comes running from upstairs with Leo. "Yeah? Sam what's wrong?" she asks. "We have to go to the hospital, you need to be here for Sam."
"Mom what's going on?" she asks. "Just stay here and keep an eye on everyone. You're the stable one." Julian says, grabbing his and Alexis' coats.

Alexis leaves Julian behind her as she runs to Alan. "Any word?" she asks him. "They haven't told us anything." PJ answers for him. Liz Webber runs over and tugs on Alan's sleeve. "The staff from Pentonville is here." She tells him. Alan stumbles but gets to the curtain. He looks in and his heart breaks. "You're not Carla." he says, checking the next one, and the one after that, and the one after that. He nearly collapses as he checks the last curtain and still doesn't see her. "Alan!" he turns. "Carla!" they run and meet each other halfway.
He kisses her and holds her as close to his chest as he can. "Mom!" Nadia and PJ come over and join the hug. "Oh my babies." She cries. "Neil's on his way." PJ tells her. She kisses his cheek. "What happened?" Alan asks. "A couple inmates got into a fight and things got out of control. I was nowhere near it and I got out. I'm fine." She assures him. "Car, I can't live without you." he tells her. "You don't have to. I'm not going anywhere." She says. He presses his forehead to her. Alexis wraps her arms around Julian. Nadia and PJ comfort their mother.
Alan moves closer to Alexis and Julian. "Is this how you felt?" he asks. "From the phone call to the day he was discharged." She tells him. "I wouldn't survive that long. Thank you for coming. I won't keep you." he says. "If any of you need anything," she starts. "We know where to find you." he says. "Alan, this offer is from both of us. Anything at all, you call us." Julian says. "I could use a drink. Not tonight but soon. Can I take you up on that offer you made?" he asks. "Just call me." Julian says. "Thank you." he nods and goes back to Carla.

9:31 p.m.
Alexis lays on the edge of her bed, her feet still on the ground. She sighs. "Baby hasn't stopped moving in like twenty minutes." She tells Julian. He gets on his knees and kisses her stomach. "Oh my littlest." he beams. Alexis crawls into bed and pulls Julian next to her. He wraps his arms around her stomach. "I love you." he says. "I love you too." She says. "After what Alan went through today, I need to hold you." he tells her. She curls against him. "You should talk to the baby." She tells him. He moves down to her stomach.
"Hi there little one. Its Daddy. I know I haven't talked to you in a few days but that's cause one of your big sisters was hurt. I'm gonna talk to you every night from now on. When your born, your mommy and I are gonna cuddle you every night." he says. "You're gonna scare them, they'll never wanna come out." She teases. "Maybe that's a good thing. That way you can always protect them and you'll always be safer because you'll be taking it easier." he says. "Are you alright?" she asks. "Alan almost lost his wife today. They've been together for forty years and he almost lost her. If those few minutes were really anything like you went through with me, I'm so sorry."
"Julian, honey, you have nothing to be sorry for. It wasn't your fault. I don't blame you for what happened to you. You were the victim. Yes it hurt me. It hurt me to watch you breath out of a tube and only know you were alive from the monitor. It was hard and painful. Every breath the machine made you take was another breath I feared was your last. I held your hand and you didn't even know I was there." She tells him. "I knew you were there. I mean, I couldn't feel you or hear you, but I knew you were there. While I was laying on the pier, bleeding onto the ground, I kept telling myself, 'You can't die, you'll never see Alexis again. Fight for her.'"
"I love you." She kisses his cheek and lips. "I love you too. And I love you two." he laughs, bending to kiss her stomach before coming back up to kiss her. "I wish I could spend forever with you, just laying here. Touching you." he says. "We can't spend forever but we spend a long weekend. Kristina had the idea that we take a couple days and go to a cabin outside of town. It would give us some time to relax and enjoy a little while together. It would be our last chance probably before the baby is born." She tells him.
"Okay. Sounds great." he says. Her eyes widen. "I thought you'd wanna talk about it first." She says. "No, I wanna do this. We all need a break. Not this next weekend but the one after that. Friday the 9th to that Sunday." he suggests. "Okay, okay yes." She smiles. "Now can we please go to sleep? I've had such a long and exhausting day." he says. "I know." She says, settling next to him. He closes his eyes. She waits a few seconds. "Julian?" she asks. He doesn't answer, already asleep. "I know you're working with Sonny to catch the organization. I just don't want you to get hurt." She says, laying down and closing her eyes.
