Dillon goes running into the emergency room. "Kristina! Are you okay? I got the call from Molly and she said something happened but didn't say what. Are you okay?" He asks, hugging her tightly but dropping his arms when he realizes she might be hurt.
"I'm okay. I'm gonna be perfectly fine." She assures him, going in for another hug. "All I hear was you and your sisters were in the hospital. What happened?" He asks, not taking his hands off her shoulders. "That guy I thought was stalling me, he made a move."
"Christ, what did he do? If he tried to hurt you I'll destroy him."
"No no, he didn't actually try to hurt me. He was taking pictures of me in the bathroom, don't worry he wouldn't have seen anything. I saw him and screamed. While he was running away he hurt Jodie. My mom and Julian are with her now, Dr. Monroe is looking at her." She says. "I'm so happy you're okay. I hope Jodie is too."
Kristina nods and presses her cheek to his chest, finally letting out the tears she's been holding back since they got to the hospital."You were lucky this time. A hit like that in the right spot can and probably will kill you, Jodie." Griffin warns, keeping his hand on the side of Jo's head. "She's okay?" Julian asks, holding Jo close to him. "She will be, once the shock wears down. Take her home and have her rest where someone can keep an eye on her, like the couch. Don't just send her to her room to sleep."
"I'm not letting her out of my sight." Julian assures him, kissing Jo's head. "Do you know what happened?" Alexis asks Griffin. He shakes his head, not taking his eyes off Jodie. "She hasn't said much of anything. She was asking for you two but she's been incoherent otherwise." He tells them.
"Has anyone talked to Kristina or Molly?" She asks. "Not that I know of. I've been with Jo this whole time. Poor kid was shaking in fear. Give her plenty of hugs and kisses and love." He tells them, giving them some space and walking out.
Julian looks up at Alexis, who sits on the opposite side of Jodie and wraps her arms around her. "You're safe now, honey. You're safe." Alexis comforts. Jo let's out a cry, burrying her face in Julian's shirt. Alexis rubs her back, having a silent conversation with Julian.
"I'm gonna go outside okay honey. Is that alright? Or do you want me to stay?" Alexis asks, rubbing Jo's back. Jo shakes her head. "Does that mean no you don't want me to stay or no you want me to stay?" She asks. "You can go." She says softly. Alexis kisses her head again and leaves slowly, incase Jo changes her mind.
Alexis closes the exam room door and takes a breath, trying to calm herself. Molly notices her and gets Kristina and Dillon's attention. "Now I'm gonna give you a chance to explain why Jodie is in the hospital before I yell because I don't wanna freak the baby out anymore than they already are."
"I'm being stalked." Kristina admits. Alexis goes to speak, nothing coming out. "Explain." She finally manages to say.
"It started a few weeks ago. I noticed someone was always around, always a step behind me. Then they made a bunch of accounts, all named the same thing. They like all my posts so I've been off social media for a few days. I wasn't really nervous until like just now. I've never actually seen them before. I can't believe Jodie got hurt."
"What I can't believe is that you've had a stalker for months and you never reported it. With your history, your families' histories! You were asking for trouble and trouble found you. No, no it didn't find you. It found Jodie." Alexis scolds, turning her attention to Molly and Dillon. "Did either of you know?"
They glance at each other and both nod. "Did Jodie know?" She asks. "She found out today, just before it happened." Kristina says, looking down. "Oh my God, oh my God. I can't believe you would do something like not telling the police, or me! All of you. Molly, this is your sister and you didn't take it into your own hands and get her help? Dillon, you claim you care about Kristina and you didn't think she needed someone to know? How long did Jodie know?"
"Maybe three minutes." Molly says. "Three minutes? Three minutes. Three minutes!"
"Woah, woah. What's wrong?" Alan asks, running up and blocking Alexis' view of her daughters. "Kristina has a stalker and she didn't tell anyone. Now Jodie is hurt, again. Jo's spent more time in the hospital than she hasn't." She stresses, letting her friend move her off tothe side.
"I get it, you're upset but you need to calm down. For everyone. You're stressing yourself and that's not good for the baby, your daughters need you, you need you." He says. "I'm fine. I'm fine." She says, taking a deep breath.
"Oh-kay then. I'm gonna go because I have a lot of stuff to do but you call me if you need anything." He offers, getting out before things can get any uglier. Alexis turns her full attention back to Kristina. "We are going down to the police station right now. I'm saying goodbye to Julian and Jo then we are going to tell the police everything."
"Dante is already on his way over here." Kristina tells her. "Fine, just stay put. I need something to eat, I'm about to pass out." She says, holding her head and walking off. Julian comes out of Jo's room a few seconds later. "Jo want to talk to Niels, do you know where he went?"
"I think he went to the bathroom, but I'm not sure." Kristina says. "I'll go track him down. Molly, will you please go sit with Jodie, she's needs company." He says, glancing at Kristina and walking away.
Kristina turns to Dillon once Julian and Molly are gone. "Tell me you saw that too." She says. "Saw what?"
"That look Julian gave me. He's so pissed at me. I wouldn't be surprised if he kicked me out of the house. You know what, I wouldn't even be surprised if he told me I wasn't allowed in the house or around the family." She says, touching her head. "Hey, that's not gonna happen. He's not mad at you he's just worried about his daughter. Jo's been through so much on her own and he was probably just shocked yo hear she's been hurt again."
The exam room door opens, Jo comes out followed by Molly. "Jodie, I don't think you should be up and around. Please go sit back down." Molly begs, trying to get Jo's focus on her. "Kristina, I didn't get a chance to see if you were okay." Jo says, hugging Kristina. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I'm so sorry you were hurt."
"It's nothing, a bump on the head." She says. "Kristina!" Sonny calls, going over to the group and hugging his daughter. She pushes him away. "Why are here?" She asks. "I came because I hears you were involved in some attack or something. I'm worried about my little girl."
"I'm not your little girl, anymore. Not after what you've done. Get out of my face." She says, pushing him away. "I get why you're mad. It's because of what happened to you, Jodie."
"Me?" She asks. "Yeah, you. I know your head has caused a lot of problems for you and that's my fault. Is it too late to apologize?" He asks. Kristina steps between them. "Yeah, yeah it's way too late. What, six months too late! You stay away from her." Kristina warns.
"I can take care of this myself." Jo tells Kristina, facing Sonny. She walks out of earshot, Sonny following close behind. "I don't want your apology. I don't want your sympathy. I'm not even the one who needs sympathy. I must say, I'm surprised you're here, actually, I'm surprised you're even alive. IAN must've made you their bitch. Well, it's not my problem. Hopefully I won't be seeing you around."
"I'm not IAN's bitch. Your dad said the same thing." He tells her. "You work for them, you're their bitch. Have fun, their people don't usually make it out. I hate you Sonny. I really hate you, but you're still Kristina and Avery's father."
"I owe you. You had the chance and the motive to kill me but you didn't. Why didn't you kill me?" He asks. "Because I'm not a killer. I never wanted to kill anyone. I don't wanna talk to you anymore. Even this is gonna cause problems. If you're worried that I'm gonna tell anyone about who hurt me, I'm not. Leave me alone, Sonny. Leave Krissy alone too, she doesn't wanna see you." She says, walking back over to Kristina and giving an excuse.8:47 p.m.
Julian flops onto the bed next to Alexis and presses his face to her stomach. "Please tell me that today is over." He begs, closing his eyes and giving her belly a kiss. "It's over. Everyone is okay. Jodie is back to her normal amazing self, Kristina and Molly are both safely tucked away in the guest room, the PCPD are on the case. This year, this Hellish year is almost over."
"Good. Maybe I'll finally be able to sleep again." He says, letting out a yawn. "Get all the sleep you can for now, in a few months we'll be slaves to a tiny human who wants us every hour." She laughs, running her fingers through his hair.
