11:22 a.m.
"I'm really worried about Alan." Alexis tells Julian. "You know you can go see him." he says. "I don't wanna impose." she tells him. "Has that ever stopped you." she glares at him. "I mean, the man is gonna deliver our baby. You have him saved in your phone as Alan, you guys are friends. I think he'd like to see you." he says. "You think?" she asks. "Of course. You go see your friend. I can come if you want." he says. "Please." she hugs him. "Okay, we can go whenever you want." he tells her. "Let's go after lunch." she suggests. "Okay, I'm starving."

1:24 p.m.
Alexis knocks on the door to Alan's room. "Come in." Alan says. She walks in slowly. "How you feeling?" she asks. "Really good actually. Surgery went well, I'm recovering nicely. They're discharging me tomorrow, I can go home soon. A few days of recovery at home, then I can go back to work." he tells her. "You take your time to get better." she urges. "I am." he says. "Where's your wife?" Alexis asks. "She was talking to our daughter. Nadia couldn't get out of school yesterday so they're talking and you know, college things."
"Yeah, I know what you mean. Two of my daughter's are in college and the other is an adult so I know. The only baby I still have a hold on is this little one." she rubs her stomach. He laughs.
Julian pulls out his phone. He looks up just a woman walks up to the door. She stares at him like she knows him. "Hi, Julian Jerome." he extends a hand to greet her. "Carla Harper." she says. "Oh, Alan's wife." he says. "Alexis' husband." she says. "I hope she's feeling better." she says. He looks back up. "What?" he demands. "She, she didn't feel good. At Kelly's, when she had to go to the hospital." she explains. He tightens his jaw. "Yeah, she's feeling better. Now I actually gotta go, I promised I'd get her something to drink." he walks away.
Carla walks into the room. "Hey honey, Nadia is gonna be here any time now." she tells him. "Yay, any word on Neil?" he asks. "Stuck in traffic, about an hour away." she says. "And uh, what about PJ?" he asks. "He still hasn't called back." she says. Alan looks down but shifts so he's sitting up straight. "Well, nothing new." he gives a defeated laugh. "I should get going. This is family time for you. Julian and I only stopped by to say hi and see how you were doing."
"Thank you so much for coming. My plan is to be back to work on Friday but if not I'll be back Monday. I'll see you." he hugs her. "Take care of yourself." she tells him. "You too, and that baby." he says. "Oh, Alexis, your husband's getting you that drink he promised." Carla tells her. "He didn't promise me a drink." her heart sinks, Carla must've said something. "I have to go." she rushes out. She runs to the vending machines and looks around for him.

Alexis walks down the hall, still looking for Julian. She turns the corner and sighs when she sees him. She runs and hugs him. When he doesn't hug back she drops her arms. "Where have you been? I've been looking for you." she says. "I went to the vending machine. I bought you a drink." he hands it to her. "Then I considered leaving. I didn't, went to the bathroom instead. Then I sat here." he says. "What's wrong?" she asks. "You said you saw Finn at the Metro-Court."
"You lied to me. You lied to me about the health and safety of our unborn child." he states. "It was here right? You didn't see Finn in the Metro-Court, you saw here, at the hospital. You lied. Something could've been wrong with our baby and you lied to me." he says. "It wasn't like that." she tells him frantically. "What was it like?" he demands. "I knew the baby was fine. I knew there was nothing wrong with our child. Alan just wanted to make sure. I knew though, I knew our baby was okay."
"You look me in the eyes, and you promise, you knew our baby was okay." he tells her. She takes a step closer and wipes her tears away. "I promise you, Julian Jerome, that I knew our child was never in harm's way." she states. He relaxes and puts his hands on the sides of her stomach. "You and this baby, you're two of the most important things in my life." he says. "I feel the same way. I promise, from now on I'll tell you about everything. Even if it's nothing."
"I love you Alexis." Julian states. "I love you too." she pushes forward and hugs him. "Let's go home. We can lay on the couch and tell our baby the story of how we meet. The second time around." she adds the last part. "Okay, let's do it." he puts his arm over her shoulders. "I cant stay mad at you Alexis." he kisses the side of her head.

11:56 p.m.
Alan opens his eyes just as a hand presses hard on his mouth, cutting his cry for help. The needle in his neck shocks him. His heart rate skyrockets, then stops.
