General Hospital Rewrite Part One

July 23rd 2016

2:46 p.m.
     Julian walks into Sonny's living room. Sonny hardly looks up from the couch. "You almost killed me and my daughter. Least you can do is say hello." he says. "They weren't supposed to kill you. And you're daughter wasn't part of the plan." he says. "That's a comfort." he says sarcastically. "Is your daughter okay?" he asks. "Physically she'll be fine but mentally you may as well have killed her. She's never gonna be able to forget this happened and who knows how long it'll be before she can cope."
     "I'm sorry." He says quietly but truthfully. "What if it had been Leo? Or Sam and she lost her baby? Or Alexis and she lost ours? What if he'd hit her harder and she'd died? What if someone had died? What if a kid had died?" he asks. "I don't know." He says. "I know. I would've already killed you." Julian tells him harshly. "I didn't mean for anyone but you to get hurt." He repeats. "That doesn't mean anything to me. An apology does nothing to change the fact that you almost killed me and my kid." He says.
     "I can stop what's already happened." Sonny points out. "There is something you can do." Julian says. "What?" he questions. "You can help me take down the organization that abducted us." he tells him. "Why do you want my help?" he asks. "Because I don't care if you live or die. And I need someone involved with a crime organization them self. I'm not gonna get Ava involved cause she's still recovering from your attack. I'm legit and I'm never going back. So you're the last person on the list."
     "Nice of you to consider me. How do I know you're not just gonna kill me anyways?" he asks. "Because I have this wonderful, legit life. I'm not giving it up. Especially on a waste like you." He says. "Do you ever think about it?" he asks. "Think about what?" Julian retorts. "Going back to the business." He clears. "The money, the power. Don't you miss it?" he asks. "I make good money legitimately." He says. "What about the power?" Sonny asks.
     "When you wake up next to the woman you love every morning, when you go downstairs and kind your daughter, a child you thought you lost, making breakfast for your family, power means nothing. When you pick up your son and look into his big, hopeful, blue eyes. When you can put your head on the stomach of the love of your life and talk to your unborn baby, power means nothing." he finishes.
     "You should take up poetry." Sonny says sarcastically. "So you wanna help or not?" he asks. "Give me another reason to help." He says. "Your kids live in Port Charles. Do this for them." He says. "Good enough for me. What do you need me to do?" he asks. "I don't know yet. I'll be in touch. In the mean time, stay the Hell away from my family." He warns. He looks back just before leaving.
     "I wanna kill you. I wanna watch bleed. I want you to die in pain. If I hadn't promised Alexis I was completely legit, I would've kicked your ass by now. I want nothing more than to punch you until my knuckles bleed. The only, only reasons I haven't are one, because I promised Alexis and she's carrying my baby, and because I told my daughter revenge isn't worth it. Not it's gonna help much. She's gonna hate you forever. I can't wait to see that. I'm not gonna kill you but if Jo tries I might not stop her. If you try anything, I'll kill you, you betray me, I'll kill you." He warns.
     "Are we clear?" he asks. "Yes." He says quietly. Julian walks out of the living room and almost into Carly. "Julian, I'm so sorry about what happened to your daughter." she says. "Clearly not sorry enough." He says coldly.
    
5:47 p.m.
     Julian grunts at the knock on the door. "If that's Anna I'm gonna shove my head through the wall." Julian threatens. "Just go answer the door." Alexis pushes him. He gets up and opens the door. "Nina, what are you doing here?" he asks. "Vince Lafayette e-mailed me. He's been following Crimson these last few months and he wants to make a clothing line modeled after the magazine." she tells him.
     " Vince Lafayette, we've been trying to get him for months." He says "He's gonna be in Philly on August 13th and he wants to meet both of us in person!" she says excitedly. "This is just amazing." He says. Nina hugs him. She drops her arms and gives an excited squeak. "I've got nothing planned that weekend. Let's head down to Philly and make Crimson the number one fashion magazine of the year." He says.
     "I cant wait I'm so excited. I'll see you at the office tomorrow. Goodnight Jeromes!" she calls over to the table. Alexis and Jo wave her goodbye. She gives Julian's shoulder another quick tap before walking back out the door. Julian walks back over to the table and sits down. "Let's get dinner started." He says. "I'm already eating." Jo says with her mouth full. "What'd Nina want?" Alexis asks. "Vince Lafayette wants to meet us and talk about Crimson." He tells her.
     "Vince Lafayette! He designed the neckless I'm wearing." She tells them. She pulls the locket out from under her shirt. "Dad that's awesome!" She says. "Yeah, We're going to Philly August thirteen. We don't have anything planned so we?" he asks. "No, nothing yet." Alexis says. "Alright good. Cause if I miss this Crimson's rep will be destroyed. If I make it, I'm taking the whole family to Disney World to celebrate." He promises.
     "I've never been to Disney World." Jo says. Alexis looks up at Julian. She looks back down. "Alexis, this is the best thing that's ever happened to Crimson." He says. "I'm happy for you." She says. He smiles back.

8:29 p.m.
     Julian grabs Alexis' arm as she walks into their bedroom. He pulls her into a hug and kisses her. "Why are you mad at me?" he asks. "Not mad." She says. "Is it cause Nina hugged me. Cause that was awkward and I didn't expect it." He tells her. "I guess it's just weird seeing you hug another woman while your child is inside of me." she says.
     "I didn't hug back if it means anything to you. Nina was excited because this is good for Crimson. That hug means nothing." He tells her. "I know." She turns away. He wraps his arms around her waist, putting both hands on her stomach. He kisses her neck, letting her melt into his arms. "How about this, why don't you take some time to get undressed and meet me in the bathroom and we'll take a nice long bath together?"
     "That sounds lovely." She says, turning around and kissing him until he's out of breath. "Go get the water nice and warm." she tells him.

     Julian sits on the edge of the tub. Alexis walks over and sits on his lap. He slides them both into the tub, making water overflow and go all over the floor. "Oh damn." He says. "It's fine. Focus on me now. I want all of you right now." she tells him. "I can do that." He whispers.
