General Hospital Rewrite Part One

December 24th 2016 Part 1

I know this part is really short but there's a method to my madness.

9:21 a.m.
     "I think we should start asking Olivia what she's doing with Leo, he just mooed at me." Julian says, putting Leo down on the couch so he can crawl over and curl up with Alexis. "He mooed?"
     "Yep, like a little cow. It was adorable, until he punched me." He tells her. Leo rests his head against Alexis' stomach, gripping her shirt. She puts her hand on the side of his head. "He's a little mushy this morning. He feeling alright?" She moves her hand to his forehead.
     "He had a playdate yesterday, he's all pooped out. Plus, you know how excited he gets when he's here. He probably didn't sleep much." Julian says, rubbing Leo's cheek. "Leo, where's Foffy?" He asks. Leo sits up. "Foffy?"
     "I'll go get it, and I'll wake up the girls. They won't be happy, but it's getting late." He says, kissing Alexis and going upstairs. He stops to get Leo's toy first, in the room Leo and Avery have been sharing. Next he moves on to Jo's door, stopping just before he opens it, realizing Jo wouldn't be happy with him if he barged in. He knocks a few times and steps back.
     Jo opens the door and rubs her face. "Hey Dad." She greets, leaning forward to hug him. "Mornin' kid. You two sleep alright?" He asks. Hi freezes, swallowing hard, "Yep." She croaks.
     "Oh-kay then. I need your help with stuff today, we have literally everyone coming over tomorrow and I think Niels is bailing on us meaning we have little to no food." He tells her. "Right. I'll be down in a little while."
     "You alright?" He asks, tilting his head. "Yeah yeah, sure. We stayed up late, uh, watching American Horror Story." She lies. "Oh, fun. I gotta go back downstairs. Leo wants Foffy." He tells her, holding up Leo's stuffed animal. Jo nods and closes her door.
     Julian rolls his eyes and goes back downstairs. "Got it." He announces, tossing Foffy over to Alexis. He stops at the last step and checks his phone. "Something wrong?" Alexis asks from the couch. "Olivia just sent an SOS. At Metro-Court, SOS."
