7:23 a.m.
"Last day in Florida. You excited?" Julian asks Jo as they walk down the hall. "No, can we stay here forever?" she asks. "Absolutely not. I'd have to wear shorts. I only own like five pairs." he says. "But no one hates you here." Jo argues. "I have no family here." he says. "What am I, chopped liver?" she asks. "You know what I mean. Plus, you just started school." he says. "School sucks. I can start a school down here." she states. "Not happening."
She laughs and bumps into him. Alexis with Leo catch up with them. "That was fast." he comments. "Little man didn't fight me." she says. "What a good boy." he says, stoping so he can walk next to Alexis. "How'd you sleep?" he asks. "You're a good pillow." she tells him. He laughs.

"Can you take Jo with you to the park?" Julian asks Sam. "Sure, why?" she asks. "I gotta stop to pick up my mother and I don't want her to be too crowded." he explains. "Of course Jo can come with us. I didn't know Grandma was coming. It's gonna be good to spend our last day with her." she says. "Hopefully this isn't goodbye. I asked her if she'd be willing to move up to Port Charles so she could be closer to us. She hasn't decided yet. I'm hoping today she'll spend some time with us and not want us to leave."
Sam rubs her dad's arm. "Do you finally know how it felt when I first meet you?" she asks. "Yeah, only I'm not dying." he says. "What?" she grabs his sleeve. "Don't tell anyone else. She's got a degenerative disease. Its making her weaker and weaker. Eventually she's just gonna just, just fade away." he tells her. "Have you told Mom?" she asks. "No, you know your mother, she'd stress and insist that she should come up to Port Charles or make us stay longer and she'll stress my mom and herself. With the baby on the way she doesn't need to be worried about moving my mother and staying longer isn't good. I don't think she wants to tell me but she's having a hard time."
"What do you mean having a hard time?" she asks. "She's always so tired and she's really in a lot of pain. I mean, her back hurts and she's having a hard time sleeping. I mean, I guess she is pregnant so things are different, but she just isn't herself." he says. "Do you think I should talk to her?" she asks. "I'm not sure. She keeps saying she's fine but, she isn't. I just don't know how to talk to her." he says. "I'll do it. I mean she's my mother and we are in the same boat right now." Sam says. "Thank you so much you're a wonderful daughter."

"Hey Alexis, how are you and mini you?" Lucas asks. "We're both good. Mini me is currently screaming at me, 'Mommy Mommy, eat!'" she mimics, rubbing her stomach. "Baby kicking?" he asks. "Little ones with little feet. It's just enough to feel but not enough to really see." she tells him. "Sounds like things are shaping up." he comments. "Well." she stretches the word. "Oh no, something's wrong?" he asks her.
"Not with our relationship. Just your father is, he's keeping his problems from me. There's this messy situation with Nina and I think he's in pain. He's having a hard time actually standing first thing in the morning. He's so wonderful and he's just been through Hell. I know it's gonna take some time for him to be back to normal but I feel like I'm alone sometimes." she tells him. "I know he tries Lucas. If he knew I felt this way he'd blame himself. I want us to be better." she says.
"He just needs time and you two need to communicate. And about having no one to talk to, why not Sam, or one of your other daughters? Or me?" he asks. "Because this is your little sibling. I need someone who I don't have years of love with. I just need a friend I can talk to. Who's not Diane or one of my baby daddys." she says. "This seems like a new problem." he points out. "It is. Before I would just talk to my doctor. He hasn't returned my calls." she says. "Dr. Alan Harper right?" he asks.
"Yeah, Alan." she says. "I heard a rumor just before I left that he collapsed or something. It might just be a rumor." he adds quickly before she can panic. "I just heard it while leaving one day. Brad probably knows more. You'll have to ask him." he says. "I just talked to him the day before yesterday. He was upset. Oh God I hope he's okay." she worries. "I'm not sure. Ask Brad. I just wanna make sure you're okay."
"I'm okay Lucas. Really, I just haven't been getting the best sleep lately and I'm worried about your dad." she hugs him. "Now I really am starving." she adds. He laughs it off as she goes up to get food. Sam walks over to Lucas. "I'm worried about them." she says. "So am I." he agrees. "We gotta do something." Sam says. "What are we gonna do? They're adults." he points out. "We gotta do something. Talking to Dad didn't help and coming from what you're saying talking to my mom didn't help either. Wait." she smiles and turns.
"Perfect." she schemes, looking at Jodie. Lucas gives her a confused looks. Sam walks over and grabs the shirt over Jo's shoulders and guides her back to Lucas. "Hey Jojo, wanna help us with something?" Sam asks. Lucas realises her plan and smiles too. "Wha-what?" she asks. Sam leans in and explains it to her. Jo gives them both an apprehensive look.
