General Hospital Rewrite Part One

July 13th 2016 Part 2

*This part is short but there's a lot of information packed into it.*

10:46 a.m.
     Julian twists his ring around to the point of rubbing the skin nearly raw. Alexis grabs his hand, making him stop before he hurts himself. "Calm down." She tells him, with little success. He'd been stressing since they got to the courthouse. He puts his hand on Leo's head and kisses him. "I promise everything is gonna be alright." he says to his son.
     "I'm gonna go to the bathroom before the hearing starts." She tells him. "Okay." He says, she passes Leo over. She heads to the bathroom and stops to talk with Jo, who's sitting on the ground next to the bathroom door. "Hey kiddo." She greets. "Who you talking to?" she asks. "Texting my friend Jensen." She says. "Oh, well it's good you're keeping in touch with people from your past." She says. Jodie doesn't answer.
     She ruffles Jo's hair and goes into the bathroom. She takes a deep breath and fixes her hair. She puts her hands on her stomach. "I really hope you're in there." She says. She walks back out and Jo stands. "Come on. Its almost time." She says. "I know." She replies. "You gonna be okay?" she asks her. "Of course. This is one of the most important thing I've ever done." She says. Alexis puts her hand on Jo's shoulder. "I know why you were in court when you were younger. I know what happened to you." She tells her.
     "I figured Dad would tell you." She says. "Your dad didn't tell me anything. I figured it out." She tells her. "I knew something happened to you, my question was what. It wasn't too impossible to work it out. You're such a strong young woman." She tells her. "And you just need to know, your dad isnt only depending on you for this." She says. "I know. I'll be fine." She assures her.
     They walk back over to where Julian is with Lucas, Leo, and Sam. "It's just about time to get in there. Ava is still no where to be seen. I can't get a hold of her and if she doesn't get here soon we have to start the hearing without her." Julian says. "I'm sure she'll be here. She knows how much it means to this family." Alexis says. "She's probably just stuck in traffic or something." Lucas says.
     "I just can't help but worry." he says. "Don't stress yourself. If we know Ava she's perfectly fine." Sam says. "Yeah, that's what's worrying me. If she is perfectly fine and she's ditching me, she wont be fine for long." He says. "Well, Ava or no Ava, we should get inside and sit down." Alexis says.

     "You're sure everything is gonna be taken care of?" Sonny asks the person on the other end. "Good, make sure it's not too bad, she's not the target, he is." He says, hanging up. "I just barely got a glimpse of Leo but he looked so happy. I really think Julian has a good chance of winning. He's got more people backing him, he works from home most of the time, he's married. He's got so much going for him and what do I have? No criminal record but I did fake a baby's death."
     "Sonny please tell Olivia that everything is gonna be fine." Carly says. "Trust me, everything is gonna work out well for you. Julian won't know what hit him." He says, smiling.

So this part is short but the next part is gonna be the bulk of the hearing. I have tomorrow free so I'll get a lot done. I might split the hearing into two parts so July 13th is gonna be like 5 parts. I'm not sure yet.
