Tris POV
I wake up and everything feels weird, like it's delayed or something. I look over and see Tobias is still sleeping, I try to smile but then I realize that I can't. Something is wrong, very wrong. I sit up and the whole room is spinning, as if the whole room around me is shaking. I try to move and it's very difficult at first but then I am able. It feels like a weight is holding me down, that everything I do is in slow motion and everything around me is going fast. I manage to get out of our bed and walk a few feet but that's when I lose my balance.
I try calling out to Tobias but no words come out of my mouth. I try screaming but no audio. I can't make any sound, I lay there helpless. I use all my strength to inch forward, moving towards the gun Tobias hides in our closest. I inch closer and closer to it when all of a sudden I feel a pain on my side and I go down on the floor again. I see three people standing, I can't make them out but they look so familiar. That's when my heart freezes, David. David is one of them.
All of a sudden darkness overtakes me.
