(Enid's POV)
The morning sun glistened through the trees as I opened my eyes.
I looked around, seeing Rick and his group still sleeping.
Standing up as quietly as I can, I stepped past them without making any noise.
"Enid?"
Shit...
It was Glenn.
Of course, I didn't answer him and kept on walking.
"Enid." He said, reaching for my arm, but I pulled it away, looking back at him.
"Where are you going?" He asked me.
"I'm going to find Carl." I said with a frown.
"By yourself? Are you stupid?!"
I sighed and turned away from him.
"It's my fault that he's in this mess. I shouldn't have gotten out of that damn closet." I muttered under my breath.
I felt Glenn's hand on my shoulder.
"You're not going out to find him until everyone is ready to go."
I raised my voice at him, not caring if it woke the others up.
"But he's in danger! He could be hurt, or even worse, dead! I don't want him to die! I love Carl to death! I would die saving him if I have to. And if he is dead, it's my fault. Negan could have killed him already..." I said, my eyes watering with tears.
The thought of Carl dead made me sick to my stomach...
"You're still not going out there." Glenn said, gripping his hand onto my shoulder, but I shook it off.
"I will look for him, and you can't stop me." I said as I began to jog back to the way we came from.
The cool forest scent filled my lungs.
Just then, my stomach started to churn and I slowed down, bending down.
I tried to calm my stomach down, but I puked anyway.
I fell on my knees, puking, and puking.
I wonder if Maggie feels like this all the time...
After I was done, I struggled to stand on my feet and stumbled through the woods.
Then I heard someone call my name...
"Enid!"
Who was that?
It wasn't Glenn, or Rick, or anyone...
I know that voice...
But I can't put my finger on it...
