(Carl's POV)
I watched as Enid slowly crawls over to me, putting a hand up and moving it towards my left shoulder.
I moved away from her, looking over at Jennie, who was with Ron.
"Thank god..." I muttered under my breath.
I looked back towards Enid, our faces inches apart.
She smiles at me, and I smile back at her. Her smile is beautiful...
I lean in to kiss her, but she backs up from me.
"What?" I asked, raising a brow.
"Nothing..." She says as she stares at me, then looks down.
"Come on Enid. You can tell me." I said, placing a hand under her chin and lifting her head up to face me.
"It's nothing Carl."
"Something's wrong. I can tell." I said as I put a hand on hers.
She gives out a small sigh, brushing her hair out of her face with her free hand. "It's just that..." She started, but I heard some walkers from my right.
I looked back at Jennie and Ron, who stood up and began to walk back to where the group was.
I looked back at Enid, who was already standing and walking after them, so I stood up as well and jogged after her, grabbing her arm.
She looked back at me, her brows creased.
"Let go. We have to get back." She says through gritted teeth.
"Not until you tell me what you were going to say."
