Chapter 13: Guess who's back!?

I followed Carl back to the others, then I heard some twigs cracking. I turned my head towards a bush, seeing Lydia.
"I thought you'd be dead by now." She says with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes, putting my hand to my pocket where my knife was.
"Same for you." I said with a slight frown.
I looked over at Rick and his group. They were ready to leave.
"Let me come with you." I heard Lydia speak out, but I shake my head.
"We don't need another person in the group."
"Please!" She nearly screams.
I furrow my brows. "Go talk to Rick about joining us."
Lydia smiles and skips over to Rick, who was talking to the others.
I looked over at Carl, who only narrowed his eye at her.
I looked towards the trees, looked back at the group, and slowly walked towards the woods.
I didn't see or hear anyone following me, so I picked up my pace into a jog.
The wind blows in my face, and I smiled slightly.
Just then, I heard someone following me.
Two people were following me...
I looked back and saw Lydia, and Carl following behind her. My smile fades.
I looked forward and kept on running until I was knocked off my feet by Lydia.
She pins me down and grins.
