-Taylor POV-

My house had been crazy since Luke last came by.

Tyler and my mom came home. Emma and Shawn moved a few block down from us. I finished my speech but was still not sure if that was good enough. It felt like the closer graduation came the more I realized what it all meant and how much I really needed to get my life together. Mya gave me a white dress. "This will look amazing on you." I chuckled. Mya was always talking about what looked go on someone. "Try it on." I grabbed the dress and did as I was told.

I walked out of the dressing room. "Damn Taylor!" Mariyah said examining me. "Are you going to a red carpet event."

I shook my head. "Would you shut up." I stood in the mirror. I gotta hand it to Mya, she can really pick out clothes.

"Fuck Taylor." Jessica said walking up. "I'm telling you if I was a lesbian..."

"Please I don't want to hear it." I said getting embarrassed. I smiled at myself. "I think I'm going to wear it for graduation." I nodded my head. "Yeah." I walked back into the dressing room. "I meant to tell you guy I reserved seats for you all as close I can get it to the stage." They didn't say anything. "Did y'all hear me?" I opened the door and walked out. All three of their faces told me they were hiding something. Or at least trying to figure a way to tell me. "What wrong?"

Jessica spoke up. "You're graduating in two days."

"Yeah." I had a feeling whatever they are trying to tell me isn't going to be good. "So?"

"Luke is getting married in two days." Jessica looked at the other two. "We're in the wedding."

At first, I didn't trust my hearing. Maybe I been drinking way too much lately. But they just looked at the floor, refusing to make eye contact with me. "No." I said shaking my head. "So you guys are not coming to my graduation?"

"We wanted to." Mya quickly added. "But Lindsey did a last minute date change from Saturday to Friday and so..."

"You can't come." I took a deep breath. Just when it seemed nothing else could go wrong the whole world collapse on top of me. "I understand. You guys made a commitment and you should keep it." I grabbed the dress. "I have to go home." I walked towards the cash register.

"Taylor?" Mariyah said stopping me. "Taylor can we explain?"

"No need." I paid for my dress. "I guess I'll see you guys after the wedding." With that I left the store and drove home. I sat at my desk. Things seemed to be getting worse and worse by the minute.

I looked down at the picture of all of us at the beach. Everything was simpler than. No problems. No worries. I want things to go back to then. I sunk in my chair. I was alone. I exhaled. Maybe my story wasn't meant to have a happy ending.
