-Luke POV-
"And the flowers go here. Luke. You will be standing here along with Calum." The wedding planner directed. "The music will began." Photograph by Ed Sherran began to play. "First couple down will be Mariyah and Ashton." The doors opened revealing Mariyah and Ashton. "Now step along to the beat of the music." They took one stop before the wedding planner started to yell. "No not like that. Right foot first."
I sighed. I was getting married tomorrow and I didn't feel like things were going like planned. "Hey you alright?" Calum ask noticing the expression on my face.
"Fine. Great." I lied. "Just last minute jitters."
He nodded his head. "Now Lindsey rocked to come down the aisle. The Reverend does his thing. You two kiss. Mwah. Then you two led the way back down the aisle followed by Calum and Jessica, Michael and Mya, Ashton and Mariyah. Congratulations you are married." The wedding planner walked over to her notebook. "Okay the wedding will start promptly at 4. Everyone must be in their correct rooms at 3. Pictures will immediately follow the wedding. Then the reception follow. Dinner will began at 6, not a second later. Cake will be at 7. After that I will be out of your hairs forever." I smiled at the last part. "Go home, get some rest, and don't do anything stupid. I mean it."
Lindsey grabbed my hand. "Tomorrow we will be husband and wife."
"Yeah." I kissed the top of her hand.
I don't know why but I wasn't really happy to be getting married tomorrow. Maybe because the wedding wasn't how I planned. Or maybe I wasn't ready to married. It's just the jitters. I told myself. This is what you want. "Hey Luke we're going out for drinks coming?"
"Nah. I'll catch up later." I told Ashton. I got in my car. There was somewhere I had to be.
-Taylor POV-
I stared at my reflection in my mirror.
I could stop the wedding. I could not go to graduation and stop the wedding. But what would that solve? The only thing it would do is show people how selfish I am.
But I didn't I deserve to be selfish? I spent my whole life kissing people asses and look where it got me. No where. But it didn't matter, Luke will have an amazing life without me.
I'm going to my graduation. I'm going to give my speech and move on with my life. That was so much easier said than done.
I walked to the bathroom and grabbed my hair brush. I walked back into my room. Luke was standing in the middle of my room. Hands shaking, bags under his eyes, and his hair all over the place. "Luke what are you doing here?"
"I don't know but I have to do this."
He pushed me against the wall, smashing his lips against mine. I pushed him off of me even though he was all I ever wanted. "What the hell?! You getting married tomorrow."
"Tell me you love me." He kept me against the wall. Our eyes connected. Every muscle in my body told me to tell him he can't marry Lindsey and that I love him, but my mouth didn't move. "Just say I love you and I won't marry Lindsey."
I shook my head. "I'm sorry Luke." My voice was trembling. "I can't do that. I can't ruin your life."
He punched the wall next to my head. "Bullshit!" He started to pace the floor. Tears fell from my eyes. Luke cupped my face. "Taylor I love you." The tears roll from his face. "I really do. From the moment we first met a year ago to now. You are all I think about. All day and all night. Just say you love me. And I'll stay."
"I can't Luke. I'm sorry."
"So this is it?" I averted my eyes to the floor. "Once I leave out the door that's it. No more us." I kept my eyes on the floor. I couldn't let him marry Lindsey but what if we didn't work out? What if this is what suppose to happen? He kissed my forehead. "Goodbye Taylor." I lift my head and watched him walked out my room. I heard the basement door close behind him.
I shook violently as the tears rolled down my face. I slid down the wall. I looked back at my bedroom doors. "I love you Luke."
