Ash's Dark Past *DISCONTINUED*

Ash's PoV

He was loving this. Just the two of them, sitting on a branch, laughing, talking, just enjoying each other's company. Then, his scar erupted in pain. He let out a gasp of pain and shock, and he started gripping the branch. He was sweating, and he didn't know why, since it was really cool up there. "Ash? What's wrong?" Serena asked in a tone of nervousness and confusion. "M-my back. It's burning!" Ash barely managed to get that out. The bandages had suddenly gotten loose, and they started falling loose completely. The bandages. They must've gotten too tight and then just snapped. Whatever the reason, Ash was in too much pain to realize. "Wait! I have some more bandages from last night." Ash knew what she wanted him to do. He took off his jacket and tank to as fast as he could, and Serena started reapplying the bandages. It was amazing how fast she could put them on without his back starting to hurt even more. His back started to feel better. Ash and Serena both let out a sigh of relief. They looked at each other, and started cracking up, for no apparent reason. Serena let sat put his jacket on, but not his shirt. His jacket was loose enough to not shift the bandages. Ash and Serena started to climb down and head back to the campsite, but as they did, Ash saw an image of his stepfather beating him. He stopped in his tracks and was trembling tremendously. He couldn't hear or see anything clearly. It was all just a blur. He barely got a glimpse of Serena's face, and then, he collapsed, and everything went dark...
