Bonnie's theory, Bacon and eggs (Ash's PoV)

I woke up and my head was resting on Serena's shoulder. Her head was sleeping on mine, so I worried I'd wake her if I moved. Bonnie and Clemont were in the cave, so I did the only thing I could think of; I slowly picked Serena up bridal style and carried her inside. She'd helped take care of me, time to return the favor, I thought to myself. I'm feeling mostly better than I was yesterday, just a little woozy. But other than that, I don't feel as hot anymore and the ringing in my ears is gone. Bonnie and Clemont were sound asleep when I placed Serena down carefully on top of her sleeping bag. She looked so peaceful, like a child almost. I could feel my face turn a light shade of red as I turned and left the cave and head to an open field. "Ok, Greninja! Hawlucha! I choose you!" Hawlucha and Greninja come out of their pokeballs and greet me as they normally would. "Guys, let's get in some special training!" I punch the sky and so do my Pokémon. We trained for about two hours before we all fell over in exhaustion. We stared at the sky for a good five minutes, and then I realized how hungry I was. I got up and set a table out and made the only thing I know how to make that doesn't catch on fire; scrambled eggs and bacon. It was still only 9:40 when I checked my pokedex, so it was still a normal time to have breakfast. I make enough for me and the others and got some Pokefood out for Braixen, Greninja, Hawlucha, Pikachu, and all the others. "Ash? Did you do all this?" I turned my head and Serena was standing in the cave entrance. She was still in her heart-pocketed hoodie and frilly shorts, along with a large red bow on the front of her head. She looked so cute. "Oh, Morning Serena. And, yeah. I figured since no one else was up yet, I could whip something up real quick." She came over and gave me a shoulder hug. "Wow, Ash. I didn't know you could cook." "Well, you learn something new everyday." She giggled and set the table with plates, forks, and cups. Bonnie and Clemont woke up a few minutes later, and the first thing Bonnie said as she came out was, "Aw! How cute!" Me and Serena both turn our heads and start blushing furiously. "Bonnie!" Clemont said as his sweat dropped. "What? They're cute together!" That just made us blush even harder. "N-no, no. It's fine. S-she just said it so s-suddenly, I-I think she just caught us off guard." I said slightly embarrassed. Suddenly, Serena burst into laughter. I looked at her for a moment, and realized what was so funny and laughed with her. That was the kind of thing Bonnie did to Clemont whenever she saw a pretty lady and she always goes, 'You're a keeper! Please take care of my big brother!' And it's pretty funny when she does that. We all ate and chatted until I finally got up and said, "We should probably head to the next town soon. Hey Serena, how far away is it?" She pulls out her tablet and says, "about a mile from here, so if we leave in the next three hours, we should get to a Pokémon center by sundown." "Kay, do how about we clean up and then you and I could have a practice battle, Ash?" Clemont asked. "Alright! Let's go!" As we cleaned up,, I noticed Onikage had been relatively quiet today, but I decided to ignore it. After all, what could he possibly be doing?
