After everyone left, I was finally relieved. I stood up and thought. So much had happened in such a short amount of time, and it was only now getting to me; My cousin who I haven't seen in five years came back, Onikage acted strangely, and my scar hurt again. But the worst one was when I lost control. I should probably explain. Now that'll take a lot of time, since I don't fully know myself, so I'll keep it short;
Darkrai never left.
I know that you were all thinking that it would be Yān, but he was defeated, and his spirit, Darkrai, was left in my soul ever since. He's been submerged in the depths of my soul, I guess you'd say. But occasionally, when no one else is around, I'll loose a grip on keeping him there, and the eyes would come back. But it's never been this bad before... it might've been from all the tests, but still. I should keep this on the down-low for now, or at least until I can get a permanent grip on Darkrai. As if he knew I was thinking about him, I felt Yān struggling to regain control of me again. It burned my lungs, clouded my thoughts, and made me gasping for air.
Don't think I'm done yet, Chosen One. I'm not even CLOSE!!!
His words rang through my head and made me light-headed. I gripped my shirt and pushed back my bangs as his maniacal laughter filled my thoughts and my eyes widened. Then, as quickly as it came, Darkrai was gone. I still felt the pain in my chest and head, though. I was so confused; after Darkrai leaves, the pain normally goes away. Why is it still here? I didn't have much time to think about that, because as if on cue, someone knocked at the door and I felt my eyes closing. As I fell, I saw two blurred figures. I couldn't make out who they were, but all I heard before I blacked out was Serena screaming, and the other figure running towards me.

Darkness...
That's all I can see...
I can't hear anything...
I can't feel anything...
Where am I...
What is this...
I see a tall man walking towards me. His skin was pale, and his outfit was black, white, and had the same fiery orange his hair did. His dull blue eyes glowed into mine, and his face was unwelcoming, but familiar.
...
Lysandre.
"Hello, son." He says. I had almost forgotten about Lysandre being my biological father. I backed up.
"I am not your son." I said forcefully. He only chuckled at that remark.
"You know," he came closer and held my face in his hand. "You have your mothers eyes; so magnificently brown, but not as light..." I pulled away my face and yelled to his face,
"What is wrong with you?!" I felt something bad coming on. His face was  obviously annoyed and angry.
"Is that any way to talk to your father?" He asked. I took another step back.
"You're not my dad! You never were, never will be!" He was clearly getting enraged.
"How dare you?!" He then ran up and shoved me to the ground. Hard. He glowered down at me, but his expression quickly changed to a calmer one.
"*sighs* so sorry for my outburst. It gets hard to control my temper occasionally." He extended his hand to me. I turned him down and got up on my own.
"What do you want? And where are we?" I asked. He smiled again.
"We're in the Realm of Darkness, and I want you to forgive me." I stared at him like he had two heads.
"How could you expect me to forgive you?! One, you left me and mom for no reason, two, I never knew you, and three, you tried to KILL me a few months ago!" I yelled. He was trying to keep his calm.
"Ah, yes. The incident after the Kalos League. Congratulations on winning that, by the way." (If you aren't caught up with the story or forgot, in this story, Ash won the Kalos League)
I ignored his praise. "So what do you really want? I know you wouldn't just show up out of no where just to have me say I forgave you, which I don't and never will." He closed his eyes and lowered his gaze. I could hear a faint laughter coming from him.
"So, you've seen through me that fast, huh?" Suddenly, Lysandre turned into a cloud of smoke and changed into a teenage boy. He looked around 19, and he had porcelain skin, pitch black hair with bangs that covered his right eye, and he wore a black tee shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and his arms were covered in scars. But when I looked at his eyes, they glowed a bright yellow and there was a faint glow of purple and black coming from the corner of his visible eye.
This wasn't Lysandre...
This was Darkrai.
Darkrai laughed maniacally, and his gaze went from normal to insane in a matter of seconds.
"Ahahahahahhahahah! You idiot! You should see the horror on your face! Priceless!!" He continued to laugh as I backed up. He's even more insane than than last time. After he stopped laughing, he glared at me, smirking.
"Wh-what do you want?!" I yelled. He grinned.
"I thought that much was obvious, Chosen one." Chosen one? What is he talking about?
"I want you." He held his hand out, as if he was making a deal.
"Never." I said, smacking his hand away. His face turned stone cold.
"*sigh* must you humans always be so stubborn?" He asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." I said, shrugging. He placed his face in his palm.
"Fine, then. I guess I just need to give you some motivation." He held his hand out palm up and a black and yellow flame erupted from it. In the flames, I saw Serena being chained down, covered in cuts.
"No!" I yelled, going to reach for the fire, but Darkrai moved his hand back.
"Nu-uh-uh. Don't want to hurt her even more now, do we?" He grinned. I placed my hands at my sides and looked down.
"That's what I thought. Now, if you're a good boy, you'll do as I say, or else your princess will become a warrior." I looked at the flames and saw that Serena's eyes had changed to a bright red. Her face looked murderous.
"I know she's your weakness, Chosen one. I know everything. About you, your past, your father," he started walking towards me, so I backed up, trembling, "you want so badly to run away. To go protect her. You're willing to do anything for her."
"What are you getting at?" I asked shakily, and all he did was stare at the fire in his hand.
"I want to make a deal," he looked at me again. "If you give me partial possession of your body, I'll leave Serena alone. If you give me partial possession, but it eventually becomes full possession, I'll never touch you, your friends, or your family again. If you refuse," he crushed his fist, the fire dying in it, "you get to watch everything you care about wither out and die." He laughed again as I fell back.
"Y-you're insane!" I yelled.
"Sure I am, what's your point?" He laughed at himself again. I got up steadily and debated my options. If I gave him partial possession only, Serena would be okay, but no one else will. If I eventually give him full possession, he'll leave everyone alone, but I'd be evil. But, my friends have helped me defeat Onikage and Yān before; they could probably help me defeat Darkrai, too! I sighed.
"Fine. I'll take my chances with the second option." His eyes lit up and his grin was maniacal.
"So, then. It's a deal?" He stuck his hand out again and looked at me. I looked back.
"It's a deal." I shook his hand. His laughter rang through the entire room.
I hope this works.
"Perfect." He said, his voice changing to sound morel demonic. His body became transparent and rushed into mine. The rush made me fall back, and once I hit the ground, I woke up to my friends around me.
"Ash!" Serena hugged me. I didn't hug back. She let go and placed her hands on my shoulders.
"How you feelin', Ash?" Onikage said. I looked at him, and grinned.
"I'm fine."
