A/N: I am so sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I've been sick for the past two months now and my writers block for this story has only grown. I'm trying to write this story more, however if updates are staggered, I'm sorry. Anyways, hope y'all enjoy the chapter!

Two days. Seven hours. Thirty-four minutes. That's how long it's been since we lost Red, Onikage, and Ash. It's been so hard to sleep without having horrible nightmares about what they might be doing to Ash. I will openly admit, I'm scared. Kyle keeps reassuring the others and I that we'll find them, but with each failed search, I can see the hope slightly leaving his eyes. I can tell; his eyes are dulling out. It happens when he gets nervous, stressed or scared. Nowadays, the raging green fire in his eyes has been dulled to barely enough light to see.
"AHHH!!" Bonnie screamed and we all turned around. The bushes behind her had rustled and she got spooked.
"Bonnie, don't scare us like that. We thought you were being taken or so-" Clemont had started shunning her, but he stopped short when the rustling continued getting louder. Alain, Kyle and I all got our Pokéballs ready as the rustling stopped.
"That was weird..." Manon said quietly. Suddenly, something made a loud thud where the rustling was, and footsteps were heard getting softer and softer. We all looked at each other, then cautiously walked over, Kyle in the front, Alain in the back. We walked over and Kyle stopped dead in his tracks. I moved around him and saw what he was staring at. There in front of us was Onikage, unconscious and a little blue in the face. His breathing was weak, his face looked pained, and his skin looked pale. He looked like he was struggling to breathe.
"Oh my god... ONIKAGE!" Kyle yelled, running over to his brother. He brought Onikage up so he was laying against Kyle's chest and Kyle just hugged him, silent tears rolling down his face. No one else could see him crying, but I could from where I was standing. Everyone else was behind us.
"Onikage, Hey. Hey, come on, now. Open your eyes, dude. Open your eyes!" I could tell Kyle was quickly getting more and more panicked and everything that's been happening was hitting him. I reached out for his shoulder and he looked at me.
"Kyle, we need to get him to the Pokémon center. I need you to calm down and take deep breaths, okay?" Kyle listened, and soon he was breathing normally again. He lifted Onikage into his arms and turned to the others, who all had terrified looks on their faces when they first saw Onikage's limp body in Kyle's arms.
"Oh arceus... i-is he..." Manon's eyes filled with tears, but Alain rubbed her shoulder.
"No. He's just unconscious. You can see his chest rising, which means he's still breathing." Alain pointed out. Kyle gave out a physical sigh of relief.
"Let's get him back to the Pokémon center." He looked down at his younger brother with hurtful eyes. I feel bad for him; he lost his brother once they were sent to the underworld - or is it Hell? I don't know - anyways, he shouldn't be faced with that same fear again. We raced to the Pokémon Center and got Onikage the help he needed. Kyle stayed with him the whole time, never leaving his side. We were all worried, but no one as much as Kyle.
"Big brother, do you think Onikage is going to be okay?" Bonnie asked, her voice cracking. Clemont sat in front of her and replied comfortingly,
"Don't worry, Bonnie. Nurse Joy has this under wraps. She'll take good care of Onikage." All the rest of us had to do is pray Clemont was right...

I lay awake in my bed, alone. I couldn't sleep because all I could see and hear in my sleep are nightmares of the night he was taken away from us. I turned over onto my side, Pikachu sleeping soundlessly next to me. I rubbed its ear and sighed. I knew how has this has been on Pikachu; he's been with Ash for years. Pikachu stirred, but quickly fell asleep. I smiled and turned back to have my gaze meet the ceiling. I placed my hands over my chest as if I was lying in a coffin. I closed my eyes as if I was blinking slowly, and before they closed for rest, I heard a voice I never wanted to hear again.
"Hello, my sea pearl."
