Ash's Dark Past *DISCONTINUED*

You're back (Ash's PoV)

I was staring at him. He looked exactly like I'd remembered him. Tall, dark eyes, light skin, and brown hair, like my mom's. He was wearing a black office suit, with the same black tie he wore 7 years ago, the day he was killed. "Morning, Vinny. How was work?" That was my dad's nickname. He got it because he used to play the violin while my mom played piano and I sang. It was so much fun. "Long. As usual. Hey, boys! Wanna practice that swing again?" Onikage looked at me as if to say What is he talking about? I mouth to him, 'let's just go with it.' He gives me a shrug and says cheerfully, "sure dad!" He runs outside, and dad follows after him. "Onikage, wait up!" He yells to him. I slowly follow after them. As I get outside, a football is tossed at me. I catch it, and dad calls out, "Hey, Ash! Pass it!" I was beaming. This was mine and my Father's favorite sport to play when I was younger. "Go long!" I chucked it at him with all my might, and dad ran and barely caught it. "Nice one, Ash! You nearly got me! Onikage, heads up!" He tosses it to Onikage. It kept on like that for a while, then they switched over to baseball, which wasn't my strong suit, so I sat on our front stairs and watched. Suddenly, a pair of hands covered my eyes. "Guess who?" I knew it was Serena, but I was trying to be funny. "Hmm. Is it the Kalos Queen, Aria?" "Not even close." I flung my head around. "Serena!" She smiled. "Right!" "What're you doing here?" "I just came for a visit. I do live down the street after all." Huh? Since when did Serena live in Kanto? "Since when?" I said playfully. "Since we came back from Kalos, silly." She bent down and kissed my cheek. "What was that for?" I ask blushing. "To show how I feel about my boyfriend, silly. What else?" I blushed and beamed. This was amazing. My life was perfect. Perfect... Wait a minute, where was - suddenly an evil laughter arose in my head. This isn't your fantasyland anymore! I jumped up. "Wh-who's there?!" As I got up, he world, and all the people around me started fading away, except Onikage. A dark aura appeared in front of me again. Silver. You're dead meat, Ketchum! He lunged at me, looking to kill me. I blocked him with my arms, and he disappeared as he hit my arms. I was trembling in fear, and I collapsed to my knees. "Ash... are you-" "Don't bother. I knew that it wasn't real." The 'ground' around me started to blur as I felt the hot tears well in my eyes. "Who was that Vinny guy?" "that was my father. He, he died 7 years ago."
