A/N: Hi, guys. Before y'all ask, no, I'm not dead. Sorry for not posting in forever, but I've finally stopped being as stressed as I was and I got back into Pokemon, so let's go! Also, the word freaking is being added to the words I'm allowing myself to say cause let's be honest, it's not the worst thing I could have the characters say in the majority of the situations. Anyways, back to the story!
Ash was standing there, shaking, a rope in his hands, and tears running down his face.
"S-serena..." he stuttered quietly. I felt the tears fall down my cheeks and onto my shirt. I ran to him and grabbed him his collar pleadingly and said above my usual voice,
"Ash, you need to stop this! You have too much going for you!" I started crying and pounded on his chest weakly.
"You just won the freaking Kalos league! You have a Pokemon that can't even mega evolve, but who found a way? YOU! You're kind, talented, funny, caring, and absolutely amazing, and we need more people like you in the world! You have so much to offer! And I can't loose you! None of us can, stupid!" Then I pounded in patterns as I yelled, "stupid, stupid, stupid! STUPID!" He remained silent, but I had backed him up and the two of us fell over the leg rest. I couldn't tell at first, but his chest had started shaking.
"ASH, DON'T DO THIS!!!" I yelled. I forced my torso up, pushing against the floor. I expected him to try and fight me off.
He didn't.
Instead, he covered his eyes with his arm, trying to hide his tears.
"Ash, you promised you would stop this!" I yelled. He didn't respond, only sobs escaped his chest.
"I-I'm s-sorry... I-I-I c-can't..." he sobbed silently. I felt the tears roll off my face and onto his arm.
"Why would you do this? You could've just talked to me about it. Not go to this." I said shakily. He didn't respond, but I could feel his chest shaking from him crying. I pulled him into a hug and pressed my lips against his shoulder as he cried onto mine.
"P-please... m-m-make it s-stop..." he whispered. "...h-help m-me..." that last comment confused me. I didn't want to dwell on the topic too much, though. I just let him cry as I did, too. I heard footsteps running down the halls and to our room. I didn't bother to look back at them, but I knew that the others were there. I wanted to slam the door on their faces, but I didn't want to leave Ash's embrace. So I didn't. Instead, I let them stare at us, both crying.
"G-get rid o-of h-h-him..." Ash whispered in my ear.
"Who?" My voice was barely heard, but Ash responded and said,
"I-I'll tell you later..." he said as he pulled back and looked slightly downward at me. He gave me a sad smile as some more tears spilled down his face. I smiled back and wiped them away. I went to put my hand down, but he grabbed my arm and held it there. We stared at each other for a moment until Onikage cleared his throat. We looked to see Onikage and the others staring at us. Bonnie, Manon, and Calem were snickering while Clemont and Alain scolded them for it. Kyle and Onikage, though, they didn't take their eyes off of us, their expressions full of worry. I looked at Ash, who was giving them the, 'later,' look. They nod, but their expressions remained the same. All of the sudden, Ash's stomach growled loudly, and we all took that as our signal to get some dinner. We walk back down the hall and pass the mirror. I look and I see us walking past, but something was wrong. There was someone behind Ash that wasn't really there. It was like a shadow, only it wasn't; it looked like a person, but when I looked at Ash, no one was there besides him. He glanced at me and asked,
"You okay, Serena?" I shook the feeling and smiled.
"Yeah. Just thinking." He shrugged and continued forward. Let's just hope we can have a normal dinner.

"MAN, I'm stuffed till imma 'bout to POP!" Kyle exclaimed. We all laughed. Kyle had just downed six hot dogs as a challenge from Alain. The two were getting pretty close now that I think about it. Alain has been helping Kyle out and siding with him when Kyle was getting mad at Calem, and Kyle did the same. Hmm, I wonder...
NAH, they're both straight as a pole.
(Pride month, I had to make a praise to the LGBTQ community. Anywho, let's continue)
I shook my head at the thought. Onikage looked at me strangely.
"You okay over there, Sere?" I jerked my head up to face him, as did everyone else except Ash. He just kept looking down at his plate, which he barely touched, but none of us noticed.
"What?" Onikage asked bluntly.
"What did you just call me?" I asked. Onikage turned bright red because he realized what he had said.
"O-OH!! I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean t-to!" He said frantically. "I-it's just, well, K-Kyle's nickname t-to me is K-Ky, a-and I'm Kage, s-so I wanted t-to give s-some of our friends, uh, n-nicknames?" He stuttered and shrugged. I giggled slightly.
"No, it's fine, it was just one, random, and two, a little surprising. If anyone, I thought Bonnie would be making up ship names." I laughed, along with the others except for Ash, who wasn't paying attention still, and Bonnie, who had made a pouty face. I glance over to Ash, who hadn't touched his food. As of recently, this is becoming less and less of a shocker.
"Ash, you need to eat." I said monochromatically. He just shrugged.
"Not hungry." I frowned at him. He's been saying this too often lately.
"Yeah, Ash. We've all known you for a while now, and we know how much you love food, so why aren't you eating?" Alain said. Ash was starting to get tense.
"I'm not hungry. That's all there is to it." He said a little more firmly. I was sure Onikage and Kyle could pick up on this, but no one else could apparently.
"Come on, Ash. It isn't healthy for you to not-" Clemons said, but Ash cut him off by slamming his hands against the table and pushing himself up.
"I SAID I'M FINE!" He yelled. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so we were the only ones who could hear. Everyone looked shocked at how fast Ash got angry, but I was probably the most. Because when I looked up at him from his side, I could see it; a faint ring of blood red in his chestnut brown eyes. It quickly went away, and Ash's face went from enraged to shocked and scared in a matter of seconds. He looked down at his hands then to me, before running off. I stood up and thought to myself,
I want to make sure he's okay, but... he looked like he wanted to be alone.
I finally decided to leave him be for a little bit. But no matter what, I will find out what's going on with him. I looked out of the corner of my eye to see Red standing there. He had a slight smile on his face and was staring at our table before turning against the wall and turning the corner. I don't know what's his problem, but he's up to something. I don't know what, but something feels... wrong, about him.
