A/N: this chapter starts before Ash passes out last chapter.

Ash's PoV
I was having a hard time breathing. My face felt like it was going pale and I was seeing black red spots. My vision was blurring Andy everything was spinning. I could barely make out what Serena was saying.
"No... weren't thinking... been tormented too long... your actions... affect us..." my mind wasn't clear at all, and everything is spinning. My lungs were burning and my wrist felt like it had vinegar and salt being poured into it.
"Yeah... guess you're... ri-unh." I said weakly as everything spun and then went dark. While I was unconscious, I saw Silver trying to kill me again, and everything that scared me; my mom hating me, my friends thinking I was lame, my birthday, and Serena hating me. Then, I saw flashes of me. I was being pushed around by a boy who wore a long sleeved blue jacket and a rounded all-red cap. He had dark brown hair that was cut very choppy at his chin, and then he shoved me so hard that I fell back into the street we were near. It was me, Onikage, Kyle, Serena, Bonnie, Clemont, and Alan, along with this guy. It was snowing, and it was dark. I'd regained my balance and then there were two bright lights coming towards me.
"See you never, Ash." The boy said.
"Calem, No!" Alan yelled. Serena started towards me, but there was no way she could make it. The car'd crashed into my lungs and then that was it. I opened my eyes with fear surging through my body. And then the pain in my wrist returned. I moaned and placed my arm above my forehead and closed my eyes. My head was killing me. I squinted and saw everyone around me. There was also a person in the entrance of the tent. He came in and said,
"Hey, Ash. Haven't seen you in a while." I smirked as best as I could.
"N-nice seeing y-you, t-too, Alan..." Alan smiled. I looked back to the entrance and saw two more people. Alan signaled for them to come in, and as they came in, I saw Manon and... wait, n-no... why him?
"Oh, that's right. You guys've never met before. Guys, this is Calem. Calem, this is Ash, Bonnie, Clemont, Serena, and..." he got to Onikage and Kyle. "Umm, I don't think we've been properly introduced." My arms that were supporting my weight were shaking terribly. Calem, The kid who shoved me in front of the car in my dream, was standing in front of me.
"Oh, I'm Onikage, and this is Kyle, my older brother." Kyle stuck his hand out and Alan shook it.
"Nice meeting you's." Alan looked at him oddly, but shook it off.
"Nice to meet you, too." Calem looked over to Serena and smiled deviously.
"Hey. I'm Calem." He said in a seductive tone. Serena looked uncomfortable, and I felt a low growl rumble in my chest as I bared my teeth. He ignored me, but Serena took notice and gave me a 'thank you' look. I nod slightly.
"Well, Calem. Nice to meet you. I'm not interested."

He frowned.
"What? Because bandage-wrist over there's so much better than I am? I can assure you, he's not." I was so close to getting up and punching him right in his face, but I just got really annoyed and kept to myself. Suddenly, my heart stopped for a second, and I couldn't breathe. I choked and my eyes closed as I passed out, but it wasn't really passing out because I could still hear and feel everything around me on top of a faint, high-pitched ringing in my ears.
"Ash!" Onikage said. Someone shook my chest slightly and felt my forehead. I'd admit, I wasn't completely over the fever I had earlier this week, I just never told anyone. Either Bonnie or Serena let out a soft gasp.
"He still has a fever." Serena said. Calem scoffed.
"See? Weak. If I had a fever, I'd-" Serena cut him off.
"Shut up or I'll personally shove you out the door!" I was surprised; I didn't know Serena could get so fierce. Her voice went back to it's normal sweet tone as she said, "Kyle, Onikage, can you get some water and the towel?" Kyle was already out the 'door' by the time she's finished. I could tell because he tripped over his feet as he ran out. Onikage sighed and said, "yeah, let's just hope he doesn't spill it over himself first." And he got up and left.
"Is there anything we can do?" Manon asked.
"Yeah. Manon and Bonnie, you can help me with Ash, and Alan and Clemont, make sure he doesn't try to flirt with me every two seconds." I moaned slightly and opened my eyes to find Serena on my left, Manon and Bonnie on my right. Pikachu was with Clemont, Alan, and Calem, who were all fighting outside. I did it again. People were fighting, and I'd caused it. I thought about what I'd done earlier and how badly Serena wanted me not to do it again, so I pushed that thought out of my head. I made a promise to myself that I wasn't going to try and kill myself any time soon. At least, not intentionally.
Serena's PoV
After me, Manon, and Bonnie got Ash's fever down, I went outside and talked off Calem.
"What's your deal? Ash is sick and tried to commit suicide a few hours ago, and you have the nerve to call him weak?!" He didn't move and his expression remained in that stupid smirk.
"Can't help it, princess. I speak my mind." I went to say something, but he pressed his finger against my lip.
"Shh. I want to try something." He glanced at the tent really quick, and he then did the most aggravating thing a flirt like him could do; he pressed his hard lips forcefully against mine. I hated it. It wasn't soft and tender like when Ash kissed me. I shoved him away and heard a gasp come from the tent. And there, standing limply in front of the tent, was a heartbroken Ash. He must've seen it and gotten the wrong idea. Ash broke off into a sprint towards the right of the riverside. Grr, Calem is so dead. I turn back to him, give him a good slap across his playboy face, and run after Ash. After at least a mile, I finally caught up to Ash. I tackled him from behind, and landed next to him. I got up, went in front of him, and grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him up. His hat was covering his eyes, but I decided to leave it there for a minute.
"Ash, listen to me. I would never kiss that idiot Calem. I-"
"No... you don't have to pity me. I've been through enough already, especially finding out my mom, the one person I trusted more than anyone, lied to me for my whole life, and now Bonnie and Clemont know about Silver, so I'm dead even if I didn't try to kill myself." I yanked his hat off and saw his face was covered in cuts and a single tear streak. I didn't know what else to do, so I grabbed his face.
"Serena, what are yo-mph!" I pressed my lips against his, and he kissed me back after a second. Thankfully, Bonnie wasn't hear to be squealing our ears off. We broke apart, and I said,
"Ash, my heart could never belong to Calem. Because it already belongs to someone who deserves it way more than that playboy. You." I said, smiling and blushing. He looked at me with surprised eyes. Then, he broke out in laughter. I frowned.
"N-no... *hah* Serena, I-its not you. It, it's just..." he looked down, smiling. "Well, I don't really know how to explain it, but I've kinda had a crush on you for a good two months." He blushed. I felt my face heating up.
"R-really?" I asked, stuttering.
"Well, yeah. I mean, what's not to love? You're kind, sweet, caring, and absolutely beautiful. I'm just kinda surprised you'd have a thing for me." He said. I tilted my head.
"Why would you be surprised?" He lifted his head, his sad eyes meeting mine.
"Well, look at me." He waved his hands down his body. "I'm a mess, number one. Two, I tried to kill myself like, and hour ago. Three, I'm pretty dumb in most situations, and four, I'm just not hot." He frowned and looked to the ground. I turned his face back to mine with my hand, saying,
"Ash, what are you talking about? You're kind, funny, caring, and an amazing person. Plus, you're way better looking than Calem." We laugh. "Anyway, I don't care what you think of yourself, or that you think you're broken. I still love you, no matter what." I beamed, and he returned it with a crooked grin. He got up.
"Well, we'd probably should be getting back to the others before they think we're doing something." He extended his hand out to me and I take it. He pulls me up and drags me into a hug. I was surprised, but I still returned the hug.
"Thank you, for listening to me and everything." He whispered. I smiled and placed my chin on his shoulder.
"No problem. I know you'd do the same for me." We pull away and he grabs my hand and we walk back to the others.
