When I woke up, it was broad daylight. My head was resting on Ash' shoulder, and his head was laying against mine. I looked around and saw Clemont and Bonnie were out of their sleeping bags, probably getting food ready for breakfast. Pikachu was still asleep on Ash's lap. I slowly slid my head out of Ash's shoulder trying not to wake him, but I failed, and Ash moaned and opened his eyes. "Morning, Serena. How'd you sleep?" He said quietly. "Well. Sorry for waking you." "Actually, i don't mind. I was about to get up anyway." He stretched as he yawned. I smile and got up. "Come on, let's sew what's for breakfast." Ash slowly got up. "'Kay. Let's go."
We down the hill to the clearer area of the valley to where the table is and I could smell the scrambled eggs. I couldn't tell if Ash could, because he was staring at his feet as we walked. He was obviously thinking about something. "Hey, Ash?" He looked up, dazed. "Huh? Oh, hey. Sorry, I spaced out." "I could tell." He nervously laughed and his nervous grin then turned into a full out smirk as he grabbed my hand. "A-ash! What are you-" "Come on, Serena! I'll race you to the table!" He sprinted down the hillside. I deviously grin. "You're on!" I call out as I bolt after him.
I'm a pretty fast runner, but so is he, and he also got a head start, but we somehow barely tied. Even though it wasn't that far of a run, we ran downhill, so we were both out of breath from us ramming into the table like two ryhorns. "*huff* man, that was a good sprint." He says as he catches his breath. "Y-yeah. I can't believe how much speed we picked up." "Ahem..." me and Ash look up to find Clemont with an egg on his head and an confused but annoyed look on his face, while Bonnie cracked up a storm behind him. Our sweat dropped as we said in unison, "Sorry, Clemont." As we bow. "It's fine, that one was burnt anyway. I'll go clean myself up while you guys start."
Bonnie, Ash and I start as Clemont washes the last bits of egg from his hair. I noticed Ash wasn't eating again. He was just staring at the sky. This was odd, especially for him. Ash loves food, and he knows how amazing Clemont's scrambled eggs are. "Hey, Ash? You feeling okay?" He ignores me. It's like he's entranced by his own thoughts. I'm starting to get worried and annoyed. Why isn't he eating? "Hey? Ash?" I snap my fingers in front of his face. He jumps in confusion. "What? O-oh, sorry. I zoned out again..." I'm starting to think there's a lot more to it than Ash just zoning out every other day. "Oh, okay. I was just telling you that you really should eat." Clemont comes over with a towel in his hands like a waiter. "Yeah, Ash. It's not healthy not to eat." "Sorry. I just haven't been getting that hungry lately..." he looks to the side, avoiding eye contact. Something's definitely up with him; and I'm going to find out, whether he wants me to or not.
a/n: HAPPY AMOURSHIPPING DAY, Y'ALL!!!! #BRINGSERENATOALOLA
#AMOURSHIPPINGWILLBECANON
I ship it. Sorry for not posting for the weekend, but I felt like I should wait until the three year anniversary of AMOURSHIPPING to publish this part. And one more thing before I sign off for the night, I'm thinking about making a crossover between twilight and Pokémon. If you think I should, comment. If you want a different crossover, then tell me. Other than that, I don't have anymore updates in this, so yeah. Night! -countrygirl1342
