Ash's Dark Past *DISCONTINUED*

The Evil King (Ash and Onikage's PoV)

Ash's PoV
I was sitting on the floor against the door, my eyes wife with fear. Dark Ash had never truly left, and now he was coming back. I placed my hand on my forehead and pushed back my hair. I can't believe it. How did I not figure this out sooner? I stood up shakily and placed my hand on the wall for balance. My legs felt like jelly. I struggle to get back to the ballroom. Serena and the gang were waiting for me by the drinks table.
"Ash, I thought you said you were getting a drink. What happened?" Onikage asked me the second I got there. I place my hand on the back of my neck.
"S-sorry. I thought I saw something in the hallway, so I went to check it out."
"Ya can't just go wanderin' all over the place freely 'thout tellin' us, Ash." Kyle said in his usual slang. I nod hastily. The music stopped and the lights flickered. Everyone looked around, curious on what was going on. Suddenly, the doors flung open and a gust of wind followed them. A dark figure formed in the doorway. It was a teenage boy, with black smoke surrounding him. His yellow eyes glowed through the smoke... yellow eyes... no way. How could he know where I was? I looked at Onikage and Kyle with a terrified look in my eyes. They had the same look. It was him alright. King Darkrai found us. His booming voice made everything else sound so soft.
"People of Kalos, I am Darkrai, ruler of Evil Demons. I have come to your kind today to find a certain soul." His eyes grazed the sea of people till they finally met mine. He grinned evilly and said,
"You." He disappeared in the smoke and reappeared a few feet in front of me. I sprinted for the door. Kyle and Onikage followed me, but he was too fast. He appeared in front of the door like he'd been a few seconds ago, cutting off our exit.
"Come on, now, Ash. Don't you want to be more like us? Like..." he shifted his form into...
"... me?" Giovanni said. I fell back in horror and shock. Darkrai had shape shifting powers, and had transformed into my dead uncle/father figure Giovanni. I felt the fear and hurt build up in my chest. He smiled evilly.
"H-how did you-"
"Oh, I know lots of thing's Ash." He said. Then his voice got more like Darkrai's. "Lots of things. And I also know how badly you want to strangle me right now. You want to scream, but you're too scared that you'd look like a kid in front of Serena." I gasped. He could read my thoughts, too? What couldn't this guy do?!
"Grr, why I oughta-" Kyle took a swing at Darkrai, but Darkrai's reflexes were just as quick as his move abouts. He dodged with ease, along with the other seventeen blows Kyle tried. Onikage instructed the others to get everyone out of here, and they did so. They got out, too, as I got up. The sword Onikage had used before he'd come back to life appeared in his hand and he got in a sword fighting position. Kyle held up his fists and I grabbed Greninja's Pokeball. Darkrai smirked.
"How quaint. You actually think you can defeat me. Ha!" He laughed. "This'll be too easy." He cracked his knuckles. He lunged towards Onikage first. Onikage held his sword up and Darkrai dodged.
"Alright, Greninja, I choose you!" I shout as Greninja appears from it's Pokeball.
'Ninja.' It said.
"Greninja, use water shuriken!" It did so as Kyle pounced. He and Darkrai fist fighted as me, Greninja, and Onikage did our styles. This guy was impossible to beat. He dodged almost all of our attacks. He didn't have enough time even for him on some of the hits, but they just left a few bruises. I was starting to get ticked off, and I could tell Greninja was too. It looked back at me and I nod.
"Come on, Greninja! We'll get Stronger, and Stronger! LET'S GO!" We merged into Ash Greninja. Darkrai was phased temporarily, but he shook the feeling.
"Ooh, I'm so scared. You made a new form of a Pokémon. What ever shall I do? HAHAHA!" He laughed maniacally. I grinned.
"Oh, you should be." All of the sudden, I felt a surge of energy rush through me. It felt dark, but at the same time, it felt... good.
"Greninja, use cut!" I yelled. Greninja obeyed with incredible speed. Onikage looked back at me to smile, but his face went from encouragement to fear. Kyle's did the same, and Darkrai just kept smiling. We landed a direct hit, and we managed to do a reasonable amount of damage. I smirked deviously, but then I saw their faces.
"A-Ash, your eyes..." Kyle stuttered. I'd never heard him stutter before, so something must be up with my eyes. Darkrai hovered a reflective platter over to me, and I saw for myself why they were so afraid. My eyes were flashing between red and brown. That Dark surge of energy just then was Dark Ash trying to regain control again.  Darkrai laughed again. Kyle and Onikage took some more swings at him, but they all missed.
"My turn." He said. He let out a wave of smoke and it grabbed Onikage, Kyle, and Greninja.
"No!" I yelled. He backed me up and I tripped and landed on my back. I tried to get away, but I couldn't. He'd already gotten on top of me.
Onikage's PoV
Ash's eyes slowly stopped flickering from blood red to his normal brown eyes, but as they did, I got caught in a cloud of black smoke, and so did Kyle and Ash Greninja. It still amazed me how well they've bonded so that they've become one... side tracked.
"No!" Ash yelled. I felt the smoke grow tighter around me if that's even possible, and Darkrai made his way towards Ash. I was forced to watch as Ash fell and Darkrai got on top of him. He sat down above Ash and chuckled.
"Well, well, well. Lookie at what happened here. I thought you said you were going to beat me." His ears perked up. "Ah, your friends are coming. Might as well make this quick." He grabbed Ash's face with both hands and Ash struggled to get out, but it was already too late; once Darkrai started something, he always finished it. He opened his mouth and Ash let out a scream as his eyes started closing, until finally he was out cold.
"What did you just do to him?!" I yelled. Darkrai turned towards me.
"Ugh, I forgot about you pests. No matter. Your brother is already weakening." I turned my head frantically to see that he was right. Kyle's head was hanging from the smoke and his eyes were tightly shut. He looked like he was struggling for consciousness.
"Grr, what did you do to them?!" I demanded.
"*sigh* do many questions for such a quiet boy as yourself, Onikage. I only made your friend here slip out of consciousness and your brother's tired himself out from fighting me. So Theresa little to explain." He picked Ash up onto his shoulder. "And, now, I must be off. But don't worry. We'll meet again soon enough." And with that, he and Ash disappeared into a could of smoke. The smoke holding me, Ash Greninja, and Kyle vanished as we all dropped to the floor. Ash Greninja detramsformed as our friends entered the room. I go to Kyle to help him up.
"Di-did we beat 'em?" He asked groggily. I shake my head.
"No, bro. He got away." The others came up from behind and I said,
"We need to search the building for any sign of Darkrai. Wherever he is, Ash will most likely be there too." We head out into the castle, hoping to find our friend before it was too late for him.
