April 2013 Continued
“…So that’s why I never told you what happened”
Sophie’s story made me cry. I had tears on the verge of spilling over and I wasn’t even there. I can’t believe it. I suddenly felt mad. How dare he decide what’s best for me. He couldn’t possibly know what is good for me and what’s not. Great, now I wanted to yell at him because he was so wrongly considerate towards me without telling me over a year ago.
“Amelia. Are you alright? I allow you to speak but only to tell me if you are okay”
“Yeah. I’m fine. I’m just a little emotional. I can’t believe he said those things and I can’t believe you lied to me about him saying those things. No, all I got was gossip about the pizza guy and his cheating girlfriend”
“Sorry about that. I had to tell you something. Ryan didn’t even tell me about the stupid pizza guy. Tom told me before I went to yours that day. I had to tell you something that Ryan and I may have spoken about so you didn’t get suspicious”
She had a fairly good point. I mean, she promised and I know she doesn’t like breaking promises. Sophie was a very loyal person.
“Wait, so how do you know that he still feels that way?”
“That’s where the rest of the story comes in but some of it is upsetting. To a few people. It isn’t something that I am extremely proud of but it’s because of what happened that caused Ryan and I to talk about it tonight and that’s when he told me”
“Okay, you’ve slightly confused me. Can you please just explain the whole thing? I’ll try my best not to get upset and if it does upset me, I will try my best to contain it”
“Melly, I can almost guarantee that you will get upset. I was upset at me for you and I’m the one who did it”
“Now I’m concerned”
“Just remember that I love you so much!”
Oh dear, she made a deal with a demon to hand over my first born child and my soul in order to become immortal. I may need to watch less television….
“Alright. You no longer have permission to interrupt. You must remain silent again. The next part of the story started at Drew’s house party after we broke up. The night I got a phone call from Ryan to go and pick him up….”
