and I look at her,
"Do you believe in God?"
She suddenly asks.
I stop.
That churning feeling comes back.
Of course, I want to say,
of course I do.
Everyone believes in something.
God, Saints, maybe even themselves
or no one at all.
But her eyes tell me what she's
expecting my answer to be.
So I smile, "No, not really. You?"
Orsai nods in approval,
"Nah, not my kinda thing."
The feeling knots itself tighter.
