It's easier than I'd expected. Kiya is not an addition, she's not someone extra,
she's completely different from Mei in every sense.
She's her own person.
And the three of us are
friends.
For the longest time, I stop thinking of a certain girl with blonde-brown curly hair and strikingly bright eyes.
Content to simply walk together with Mei and Kiya. Happy for the first time in months.

But then-
"Me and Kiya usually go to my place to do our homework because I'm helping her with maths."
Mei explains as she and Kiya pull out their bicycles.
"I'm terrible at it!"
Kiya wrinkles her nose.
"Oh."
"Please please please Harmony, come with us next time?"
"You...want me to? Are you sure?"
I look between Kiya and Mei, hesitant.
"'Course!"
They chirp in unison.
